Well, both teams are pale imitations of their glory days.
Cannot believe how far Lancy have fallen ?
Considering the large population of the North West and the strong local cricket culture, how have Lancashire C.C. managed to deteriorate so quickly ?
My mate and neighbour used to know a Lancs player back in early noughties for knocking on 15 seasons. He relayed some pretty damming information on the Management at the time (and this lasted a while), the way they operated, their management style which made for a disharmonious squad and some appalling treatment of certain players, especially the younger ones trying to break into first team cricket.

The player retired mid 2010’s so my mate doesn’t get much info these days so no idea what’s being done, if anything, to get Lancs back to the giants of the game they once were. Lancs, Yorks, Surrey and Middlesex were the big 4 financially going back in the day.

As you say, with the catchment area of the North West including up to Cumbria and the historical culture the Club has made a proper balls up.

From the BBC on Liverpool in Hong Kong... I was convinced Simon Stone would get this one in first on his United jolly.

It's incredibly busy inside the stadium for a training session, over 25,000 people in attendance.

There's genuinely more people watching Liverpool train than there were at a lot of Club World Cup fixtures.

I visited to Far East earlier this year and by far the ugliest people (on the whole) were from Hong Kong, must have natural scouse genes.

Spotted a little sneaky one today. Been keeping an eye on City's prospective youth signings and also noticed united have been reported as going to sign Seth Ridgeon from Fulham
Noticed today he's re-signed for Fulham (fair enough) and the headlines been flipped to ' blow for Manchester City'.
It never was City, Pravda could not do any better

I've watched 4-5 Lancashire games this summer including the first day of the current game at Cheltenham

Lancs were the better team for the first two sessions at Northants and the first session at Leicestershire but somehow contrived to let the game drift away.

It's been that kind of season. No resilience when it really counts

Sky Sports news decide to keep the Rodri non story on their app longer than the true story of the puma deal.

These bitter red cartel loving wankers make me laugh. They couldn't be more blatant with their anti city agenda.

What i dont understand about this Rodri wanted by RM. Wasn't it RM that throw their toys out of the pram because that twaty Jr baby didn't win.
Know I dont personally know Rodri but he seems a decent lad with principles. The way RM behaved towards Rodri was disgraceful.
I'm surprised our press/media dont mention this.

If Rodri was to go their i would be disappointed in him, he is better than that.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, BOTH parties have mutual respect and once it's clear and both are happy with his recovery progress he'll sign a new contract. .We are talking circa 5yr deal around 75m, he's ex Athletico and hates the Spanish Rags, 95% of transfer stories are totally bullshit, usually when the biggest club in the world are involved!

When I pointed out that the 8 (at least) articles Stone has penned on their website today might suggest some bias towards the rags, my comment was deleted in seconds. Perhaps I should have just called us cheats, that would definitely have got past those cunts.
I've complained numerous times about posts on hys, calling us cheats and accusing us of circumventing the rules. Everytime the answer is the same, we have found that the comment did not break our house rules. Its clearly biased against City and pro rags and dippers. I can't wait for the day the BBC is privatised.
