Can you imagine how loud the screams of 'Witch Hunt' would have been if the Dem's had released the files? The baseless accusations surrounding the Dem's 'weaponising' the justice system are bad enough as it is.
Trump knows Epstein. So he is involved. As he was interviewed by the cops about kicking Epstein out of Mara lago for trying to pick up underage girls.
We know this already. And they've know each other for years. But that isn't the same as being implicated in his child abuse ring.
And I simply don't see how Dems and Biden, having this info, sat on it as the election ran away from them while they tried everything else under the sun...
What we are to believe here is that Trump the candidate campaigning constantly about releasing the Epstein files is implicated, but the guys who had the power to release it for years and were trying to stop his rise back to power. Those guys decided to hide their ACE card?

The last question is incredibly simple to answer, the Dems know the implications of bringing this out into the open are enormous, they didn’t make political hay because it’s a third rail, no one comes out of it well. However, Trump and his fellow travellers and MAGA influencers weaponised it, they aren’t stupid, well I thought they where not that stupid, they never had any intention of releasing the files, ever, but when Musk said Trump was in the files all that changed. MAGA influencers, the big ones, also know the implications but now have their core followers demanding action. My best guess is Trump will cut a deal with Ghislaine Maxwell where she gets a pardon for saying Trump is a great guy who to her knowledge was never involved in any nefarious activities. The files will NEVER be released in entirety and the news cycle will move on.

The files never been released is far more politically damaging than releasing the files. Speculation as to what is in the files will be more sensational, dramatic and damaging than what is actually in the files - which in reality is likely to be mundane and bit of a damp squib.
Conspiracy feeds on the notion the truth is being concealed. Refusing to release the tapes and acting like you’ve been caught on camera at a concert with your mistress, is feeding that conspiracy raw meat laced with steroids
