Hopefully not his agent trying to get a new deal! Absolutely perfect for us this one, RB/CB hybrid. Would allow ait nouri to bomb forward whilst keeping a 3 at the back. Best defensive right back on the planet for me

The Uruguayan rb/cb at Barca is pretty good, he'll do if we're splashing the cash in their direction.

He's chatting about Ronald Arajuo or however you spell it. I was high on him in the past but it seems he's been on the bench the last few times I watched. Seems the young lads have surpassed him. Not a good sign.

Yeah he had some hamstring issues I believe and once he came back had some stinkers. He came on late for Barca against Inter in semi final and had a howler. They were up 3-2 and his mistakes caused them to lose. Lost Acerbi on the tying goal. Caught sleeping on one of the others. I think I recall him making a public apology saying he should have been better. Thats usually the end of the road for lads at Barca/Madrid.
He's not as good on the ball and has been benched by Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez every time I watch now. Even Eric Garcia gets the nod over him at times. Maybe a full pre-season and more time away from his injury will help him find his legs again, but a risk nonetheless. To me he seems like a player United would target...

Perhaps. As fans we can't say can we.? We can only be hopeful. We have seen enough evidence that he can hit the forward 1 on 1 and win but we have seen no evidence that he can keep the ball under pressure and bring it out of defence. I am not criticising him. We just have only seen him in handful of games.
We had to buy defenders in January but we were relying on their progression. I don't think many City fans know what to expect from Khusanov and Reis this coming season. I don't know.
