Made me smile this morning when I turned on the radio to hear Talkshite are leading with "The biggest shock in the history of world football" type angle,
Weird because only yesterday they seemed to be going along the lines of "little old City (with no history or fans) playing in some gloryfied friendly which is a bit of a joke type cup" angle.
Jeff Swelling & Ally Mcmoist really did seem to be getting quite excited this morning about the result :-)

I listened to the game in bed last night on TalkShite and the 'commentary' was appalling, not only did they not tell what was actually going on in the game most of the time, when they did tell you, the bias in the reaction of any goals was of liverpool v City Martyn Tyler proportions - two extremes of excitement - one for each team.

But it is a headline, particularly the manner in which we lost it. A huge headline in my opinion actually.
I think people were part scared part pissed off we were coming back to the top very quickly after three wins, specailly after Juventus win.
And now they've got a proof we can easily be made mugs like the last season when properly pushed.

So decided to flick Talkshite (bad move I know) on for the 1st time in a long time yesterday afternoon on the way home from work.
What a fucking error!
Leanne Sanderson literally slandered us accusing us of cheating our way to our success over the past 10yrs when discussing the situation at Newcastle and how unfair it was. I saw my arse, rang them up and told the researcher that they need to remind the cockney turkey teethed fat rag that Newcastle voted for those said APT rules that she is now saying are unfair. I normally (as you know) am very calm when it comes to the media and how they use our club as some sort of justification for anything that is wrong in the football world. When she said "I don't put Man City or Chelsea in the same bracket as United, Liverpool and all the other history clubs" basically made me realise that it is all for a response and muggings here took the bait. Not 1 mention of our money we had won over the past 10yrs or our growth with revenues etc. Literally made me see red the fat little rag ****.
Leanne Sanderson sums up all that is wrong with modern day so called presenters/pundits. They let their bias cloud any chance of a fair an balanced debate.
I can't believe as a 51 years old FOC that I let her bother me so much.
Anderson needs to stick to womens' fucking football. Sorry if that is sexist or anyone takes offence but she knows the sum total of fuck all about our club.
Sometimes really wish our legal department would take a firm stance with these people and make an example of them.
Anyway - Have a good Sunday all. Looking forward to Wolves away now.

It's all just clickbait it isn't journalism and it isn't remotely factual. Until City start suing these cunts individually they'll continue to do what they do.

Obviously this isn't affecting us financially as much as we the fans think but it does affect the fan base giving ammunition to cunts in the media, makes you think if City really give 2 fucks about the fans really.

Mate we all know that these rags use the 115 as a comfort blanket.
It makes them feel better as they know their glory days are over. The fat gobshite you mentioned is your classic example of their mardarse views to do with football, once they shouted from the rooftops how brilliant they was and now they can't shout about nish so now the go to to cheer them up is the 115.

It's absolutely fantastic that not only have we ruined them by winning everything but now all they can think about is us and the 115.

Just listening to Talksport Custis and winter on guest is Karen Brady ..interestingly they talked about Paqueta and the allegations,Brady mentioning that there’s a high bar proving these allegations ( sound familiar) which he was cleared of..Next think it was Winter asking could he be entitled to compensation due to reputational damage ( sounds familiar) Brady said she couldn’t go into that as she doesn’t know his situation..listening to that you felt they had sympathy for Paqueta and rightly so if he’s innocent,would we get the same sympathy if we are totally cleared I doubt it very much..
