What about Tottenham?

They qualified through winning the Europa league, they didn’t actually finish in the top four. My point stands 15th to 4th the following season hasn’t happened in the PL and the rags don’t have the back door way in through the Thursday night trophy option.

This is only the second season, the post-Heysel years excluded, that the rags haven’t had European football since 1981/82.

The only other one was the 14/15 season, after they’d finished seventh under Gollum.

Bookmarked for everytime they get beat.

It's that time of the year again. We will be getting all this fuckin guff every week now.
Fucking Luke Shaw said that? Has he no self-awareness? He's been claiming a very good wage off them for years whilst spending 85% of the time injured only to come back for England and get injured again. He's THE biggest (in more ways than one) straggler at that club!

Put a tenner on them to be relegated.
No chance, unfortunately. It'll probably be three from the promoted clubs, Wolves (no Cunha or R.A.N any more), Brentford (Frank and Mbeumo gone, maybe Wissa as well) and maybe Palace (no new faces in to refresh the squad, and Eze and Guehi possibly leaving?) and Everton (though the "Hill Dickinson" stadium should give them a boost).

Yeah there's a definite 6/7 clubs that are worse than the rags next season, it's a corner turned in the future.

If the Toffees' experience is anything like ours, they really will be struggling to avoid relegation CoMS was like a millstones around our necks tat first season.

I do it every season, we know it won't happen but it don't half wind the fuckers up, great value for money.

They just seem to have the knack of doing just enough to avoid the drop. How many times in the last, say, 15 years have they gone into the last half dozen games of the season in DANGER? Yet they always survive. The extra 15k (?) they'll get in the new stadium should, in theory, be a boost. Though it's true what you say about our early years in COMS.

It goes back a lot further than 15 years.

I clearly remember Everton struggling in the early/mid '90s, even escaping the drop on the last day on at least one occasion.

I don't think they will have as bad season as they did last season.

They will still fluke the odd result and late late goal. They always do.

IMO they will finish between 7th and 10th.
