There’s a big difference making statement signings and they’re round pegs for square holes. Which United have done for years than going out paying big money on a statement signings for players we actually need.

Our last 3 years have been pretty average that’s why so many have caught up. They caught up and are pressing ahead while we still look around fair bargain's. Instead of singing 4 or 5 players every year one or two top notch players add to the squad and stop letting all our decent players get old together.
