The archetypal England collapse. 7 wickets gone for 123 runs in 30 overs. I said when the opening pair were knocking it all around the Oval, that I couldn't understand the rush, and that crease occupation and time used up was the key. Been proved right, seemingly.

I disagree with your disagreement. Yes the Indian tail did badly but our middle order could have done better, the carefree nature of our batting is disturbing

I’d normally agree but when you look at what it’s doing (Root dismissal for example) they could get a ball with their name on it at any time.
All that being said, I thought the Smith dismissal was a shocker.

The Australian media is going mental about Broad being a commentator in the ashes, headline SMUG POMMIE CHEAT, yet we have 2 Indians, 2 Aussies commentating here, and like you say the English commentators are forever bigging up India; as well as the 2 you mention rag Atherton is just as bad, and fucking morose too. Sky coverage is India TV, awful. I prefer listening to TMS, at least they manage to be happy when England take a wicket. Mussing Botham, Gower, Holding and Bumble

I agree to an extent but we could have been dismissed for under 150 if Crawley and Duckett hadn’t been ultra-aggressive.

It’s why I mostly just listen to TMS now, it’s just a much better experience.
