PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Why would I give a fuck to learn about PSR when our owner sold everything that wasn’t nailed down, then got a fucking crowbar to bring up the stuff that was nailed down so that we could be the balance spreadsheet champions year after fucking year?

As for having a respect for Man City fans, always maintained the fact that your club having so many fans turn up when you were in the 3rd tier and your neighbours were dominating football with the club 40 miles down the road doing the same was a true testament to fan loyalty.

Fact is before your takeover come Manchester derby day everyone in the whole country wanted you knock the living daylights out of Man Utd, now everyone turns around and calls you all sort of names because you eventually gained the hand to slap the fuckers down at the spot they stood.
I have no such pretence.
That everyone you mentioned included the majority of Newcastle fans.

Be careful what you wish for.

A football system run and dominated by Perez, La Porta, the Glazers/Offshore Jim, FSG and Hoeness isn’t one in which City will flourish.

City should be one of the most powerful and influential clubs in by far the biggest, most affluent and dominant league in the world.

We’re not and Khaldoon and Soriano need to fix that. We’re outsiders and we should be dictating the way forward not being sidelined. Maybe the post 115/130 landscape will be different but the hierarchy at City need get a grip.
Without forming a breakaway league, how do you envisage we do that ??

European Football, especially the EPL is like a gentlemans club & no matter how much money we have our faces will never fit.

It was ironic that the cartel clubs trying to force a Super League gave us a way in with UEFA

You have hit the nail on the head "Why would I give a fuck to learn about PSR''

That is exactly what the American cartel want. The cartel want to take control of the pl one club at a time.
Other fans couldn't give a shit about it as they blindly believe it doesn't effect them.

Then their club gets taken over by someone the American cartel doesn't like, within in days illegal rules are brought in to stop them spending on players.

These fans then start moaning about the cartel. Of course this is going to be abit annoying to City fans as we have been saying this for over 10 years

I was on another forum and this Newcastle fan hated City's dirty oil money. I told him that when you taken over the cartel would be after them. He didn't believe me just kept calling my club cheats and worst.
I got banned from that site and the forum closed sometime later. I would if he has changed his views ?

Football in this country is on a knife edge and fans need to wake up. The American cartel are a real threat to our game. They are racist 100% the press/media are also a threat by supporting this racist cartel. The press/ media won't report on say dippers shirt sponsor being fine 3 times now and fined 1 2 billion for money laundering. Yet etihad want to increase investment in City, oh no can't do that.

Other fans are sleep walking into an cartel run American sport.

Only part I disagree with is the racist part. I think that might be true, but isn't their driver. If the Middle-East owned clubs were wanting to do everything the cheap and take money out of the game for themselves, they'd be okay with them.

It's the fact that we invest, and we grow, and then force them to spend to compete for the riches, that they can't stand.

PSG chairman managed it

For the life of me i can't even begin to understand why we agreed a settlement, weird as fuck

For all the bad intentions of Liverpool and their employees, City on their side didn’t do their job in allowing a situation where the scouting data base software was accessed for nearly 8 months by Liverpool. If the ex employee was using his still activated Scout 7 credentials it should have been deactivated when they left the organisation, if they were using someone else’s known log in details these should have been changed every few months and would have stopped Liverpool from having access to City’s Scout 7 database for as long as they did.

The other side of it were there any disciplinary proceedings internally at Liverpool with Micheal Edwards and the two ex City employees? If I’d had done something similar in my work place and my employers had paid out a £1 million to stop it going to court, I would expect my feet wouldn’t touch the floor on gross misconduct.

Correct, however the problem is that when we mop up to produce profit we reinvest all of it for City.

PL then buy off votes by telling middle clubs that they will get nothing from City but PL will look after them if they vote certain rules through.

Can't blame them our rivals have seen us pirate off their rightful share so want rule change so bribe those who vote.

City response will be court action if illegal unless we force legality validation before voting.

Your last paragraph. I think the dippers did take action against them, didn't they get promoted ?

Yup Micheal Edwards is now CEO of Fenway Sports group, as far as Liverpool football club is concerned and their moral compass crime certainly does pay. As an organisation Fenway Sport plays dirty and they have been involved in sporting scandals with their baseball team, this whole 115 is a power play pushed by them and their other mates at Old Trafford, The Emirates and White Hart Lane to destabilise our club. Once this is out of the way they will be up to other shenanigans.

So are City! This one team in on Tyneside stuff is bullshit.

The Newcastle Metropolitan area (Tyne-Wear) includes Gateshead, North Shields, South Shields, and Sunderland.

Gateshead was traditionally Sunderland oriented as was South Shields while North Shields was mixed. Even areas like Durham and Chester-le-Street were very Sunderland back in the day.

Now out-migration from Newcastle has changed some of these patterns. I recall having a long talk with a Sunderland supporter after the League Cup Final. He was from Durham and bemoaning the impact of Newcastle supporters moving in.
I’m sorry like, but that’s pure fucking horseshit.
I live in North Shields, my mam and my stepdad are from North Shields, they both grew up on what later became the notorious Meadowell estate.
North Shields has never ever in its entire history been a mixed area for our supporters.
North of the Tyne as I have said in a previous post is full Newcastle United. The vast majority of South Tyneside is Newcastle United, except for a small area that includes Boldon, and Whitburn which are right next to Sunderland, even then they both still have significant Newcastle United fans.
South Shields is probably about 40/40 with 20 floating.
Washington despite being under control of Sunderland council is about 50/50 due to how historically it was easier to get a bus from Washington to Newcastle, then it was to get one to Sunderland. A lot of Washington is actually closer to Tyneside than it is to Sunderland, and it’s a new town, so filled with Tyneside overspill.

Areas of Durham has always seen significant Newcastle fans, fun fact, Sir Bobby Robson was from Durham. Chester-Le-Street is actually exactly the same distance between Newcastle, Sunderland, and Durham, though it is significantly faster to travel to Newcastle and Durham from it. It also has a railway line taking you directly to Newcastle and Durham.
Northern Durham areas like Stanley is actually on the Tyne valley, you actually get a pretty good picture SJP from areas such as Burnopfield.
Sunderland fans like to say that Durham was always 100% red & white, and call the Newcastle United fans who live there 92’s because according to them they never supported us until the Premier League came about in 1992, the irony is that Newcastle United were not in the Premier League in it’s formative year.

It was another users log on details. So I see it like leaving your back door unlocked, naive but the thieving **** who went in & robbed you is the wrongun.

Sunderland got relegated in 1991, didnt Newcastle get promoted in 1993? Only North East club who were in the first year of the Premier League were Middlesbrough.

The whole country mate, the absolute whole country.
Back in the day my mam used to watch Coronation Street, and one time they covered the Manchester derby on it. Someone asked Les Battersby who he was supporting, his response ‘Like the rest of the country, Man City’.
The truest and most real moment in soap history.

Perhaps you’re right on that point, my point still stands that in 1992 we weren’t even in the Premier League.

And in respect, how many Man City fans bemoaned Chelsea’s takeover before Man City’s?

It’s nothing we don’t discuss as Newcastle United fans. The top 6 (you excluded) all dismiss the topic because it suits them to just tar every newcomer as moneymen and for some reason they think they earned their place at the top because it doesn’t matter if you were bankrolled in the 50’s,70’s, and 80’s as you can rewrite history.

The other clubs are just happy to existing. You think a Brighton fan gives a fuck when 20 years ago they had no stadium and were in the lower leagues? The irony being that their takeover made them as unreachable to those lower league teams as the top 6 are to them now. The likes of Crystal Palace etc are happy just being in the Premier League, even more so now they fluked their FA Cup win.

This maybe highly controversial, but every single club in the Premier League is waiting for the Americans to lock the Premier League.
The whole same clubs going up and down suits them. They have the money to keep a distance between themselves and safety, and once they are officially locked in and the Premier League is able to get a TV broadcast deal that rivals the NFL, we’ll see it so every club gets £400m per season regardless of how well they do. It will make a lot of the owners billionaires overnight.
The sad thing is, so long as your club is on the right side of the divide, most fans will secretly love it. Never going down, all the money in the world so they have great players, even if they don’t compete at the top of the league.

Perhaps you’re right on that point, my point still stands that in 1992 we weren’t even in the Premier League.

Some team that Newcastle team under Keegan with Beardsley and Coke upfront. Remember we got a plucky 1 nil win at St james park in the league cup under Brian Horton and it felt like we’d won the champions league that night with that performance.

Or even funnier: "Hand over those emails"

"We haven't got them because we are legally required to delete them after a six-year period. We didn't want to be prosecuted for breaching data protection. In any case you have approved our audited accounts for the last decade and never told us there was anything wrong with them."
If they want to look at our old e-mails I'm sure the scousers have got copies available !

Coke was great at sniffing about in the box.

Newcastle were my second team back then. Well actually its alway been Altrincham, but I loved watching Keegan's Newcastle. They played spectacular football and anyone challenging Utd back then got my backing.
