PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They play the long game, cleverer than the cartel with the money and the influence to do so Look at the way they have taken on the PL with their APT rules they will not waste time and money suing a few no marks who call them cheats and make spurious allegations, what would it achieve as there would be more after that, its not a battle to win
They are not lying down and being walked over far from that
Would love us to go for Carragher though when we win.

We were in the paddock along the side with the big concrete crush barriers and the home fans above us. I was stood on a crush barrier at the final whistle giving it to the Geordies and one of them threw a mars bar at me which I caught and ate.

I wish they'd thrown a Mars Bar at my car, but after being forced to drive home with no windscreen, I suspect that it was something a bit stronger.

To be fair, they're from Newton Heath. How much more Mancunian do you want?

I'm a Newton 'Eaffer. My grandad always claimed that when the rags were there, it was still an independent town from Manchester, with it's own town hall etc, so technically they wasn't 'from Manchester' still ... That'll do for me. :-)

They say the same about us and Gorton

What's a Newton Eaffer :-).
I'm from Newton Heath. Lived there for 42 years and escaped 4 years ago. Lived on Fenstock Walk, which is up near Asheton Rd, Edenbridge Rd, which is near Ten Acres Lane and Hethorn St.
United played at Bank St for years and Clayton was in Manchester at that point. Stretford is one of the oldest parts of the Parish of Manchester. Plus the ground they playing in on North Rd in Newton Heath was owned by the Church and Manchester Cathedral.
I know it's banter saying the Rags are no proper Mancs, Its a bit of a nonsense really.

I lived on Edenbridge for 6 months in around 2010. Quite liked the place.

Yes. I was living near Edinburgh and had a very treacherous drive back in freezing rain. In those days it was a rare win at St James Park.
The League Cup win was 1994. The previous win at Sid James Park was 1977 in the FA Cup although we didn’t play them that often due to us both yo-yo-ing between the top flight and second tier. Our next win after that was 1-0 in the Premier League in 2001.

We’ve had a much better record up there more recently.

I think I went to that game, if it’s the game where Gaudino made his debut ?
I was there as well, and yes Gaudino made his debut. We were in a paddock at the side of the pitch and there probably was only a few hundred there.
