FFS an article with the headline

"Why Guardiola's new number two could be Man City's biggest summer signing"

is a horrible article?
I can't even see why it implies what you suggest!
What it SAYS though is far more important and a positive. It says that after a poor season Pep is adapting and changing the style of our play, after reading it I was far more optimistic about the upcoming season.
We'll have to agree to disagree mate. The way the media somehow thinks that Klopp dines at the same table as Pep is ridiculous. They're not even in the same restaurant. What they're trying to say is that if we do well this season, somehow it's due to Klopp or Liverpool's tactics

I’m sure the BBC will fly out their Chief Football writer to cover the whole weekend and to write a dozen or so sycophantic articles blowing smoke up our arses…. Not.
It'll be a token rag watching it at media city. Slimey Stone will write the match report from rags training HQ if we lose.

Your disagreeing with me and many others, did you see the below post on page 45? TBH I think your at the stage where you believe every article is anti City and so set out to prove it to yourself.

The distraction continues with Levy’s latest. While City go about their business, the cartel clubs load on City to distract from their own failures.

Supporters will always back their club, but supporting greedy owners who fail to deliver should not be accepted.

Despite it being said Levy "issued a statement" in some places......it was an interview about Spurs/Frank, Levy's decisions/involvement, and what Spurs fans thought of him, the question about City was tagged on the end, and he basically said "it should have been sorted, taken too long, and should have been dealt with 'in-house', the fact it's through courts means Solicitors have made alot of money"

Levy is a lot of things… I hate the ****- but he’s not stupid. He knows full well this couldn’t be settled internally given the way the PL - pushed by him and others - behaved with their ‘grandstanding’ approach with the 115 charges and their snide briefings to ‘patsy’ journalists . If the PL wanted a settlement they’d needed to act reasonably but they absolutely didn’t. Levy and the PL got giddy and played the big I am - City have stood firm and a few of the Billy Big Bollocks (including Levy) are now getting twitchy arses and are distancing themselves from the shit show - that they orchestrated- that may be about to play out and blow up in their smug faces. Levy is one of the architects of this whole process but he’s trying to scurry away (life the coward he is) and will try to leave Dick(head) Masters to take the fall.

Just how does it get sorted in house? Does he think we have no right to a fair hearing?

The **** was called out by Pep so has his prints all over it. The only thing that could have been handled in house was a decision to not charge & im certain he wasn’t in favour of that.

The BBC is an absolute mess these days. Poor news and current affairs dominated by the London bubble, terrible sports coverage of the national game with no live matches, endless repeats of quiz, gardening, property, travel shows while the comedy output is totally unfunny. It can't be justified any more in its current format.
Popped a few things on my opening post

Could well be the shortest thread on the forum, but there are so many posts I read on here slagging the BBC off, that (and I can’t believe I’m even writing this) maybe it would be a good idea to list what the BBC does well, and why the licence fee offers good value.

Just to state what I think...

They'll have Rag Shamoon watching it on a dodgy stream in his bedsit, making snide comments about empty seats.

Don't think he's a rag, he's got an image of Mesut Ozil as the header of his Twitter account.

His account on their is protected, so you can't follow him unless he accepts your request, which is a bit of an inconsistent approach, shall we say, when compared to the like of united's Stone.

Laughable he was saying that the FA should be the independent regulator for English football. How does an association not have any vested interest in what it wants in the game and how can that be independent and not influenced by person or teams inside the Premier and Football Leagues?

It used to do great drama but has now been overtaken by other providers. It does world class nature programmes. The BBC tries to do too much. We don’t have an empire any more. It should focus on providing great drama, a proper news service, excellent unbiased documentaries. And we should choose whether we purchase it or not.

Fuck all.
Even the weather reports are dramaticly exaggerated to try and pour more misery

What he wanted, was for him, and a cabal clique with another 7 sychophantic hangers on to get a 'majority' of 14 votes, within the PL structure. They would then find us guilty and chuck us out. THats what he percieved would happen, and what they wanted.
Unfortunately they were barking at dogs with bigger teeth.

What the weird **** hasn't taken into account is the overall fans reaction to an outcome like that, it's OK having a laugh and a joke about a bunch of Yanks throwing an English club out of an English league so they can protect their bottom line.

It's another thing doing it, talk about shitting where you sleep.

Ok, I'll agree to disagree with the many others you refer to.

I don't think every article is anti city at all, there are still some factual, sensible journalists out there. How're, I do think generally speaking there is most certainly a negative pattern in the vast majority of city related articles, whereas for other teams there is often a much more positive spin put on even somewhat negative subject matters.
