Jack Grealish | Set to join Everton on season-long loan

From the pictures, it looks like Jack has come back in ridiculous shape and ready to work, which speaks volumes for him. Whether that is enough to rebuild Pep’s trust or simply helps move him along remains to be seen.

With Claudio heading to Spain, and Grealish s HG status, it remains to be seen whether he has the time to change opinions. If he does, more power to him!

Indeed, if what we are hearing about Pep’s plans for the team this year are true, it might greatly enhance Jack’s game and make him far more valuable than he has felt over the last few seasons.

I wish him nothing but the best, as he’s clearly a well-liked lad, but he has to meld his personal life with his professional life to progress from here, and the birth of his first child MIGHT be just the thing he needed to stay away from the booze for a few more years and possibly reach his potential.

While many might say he’s no spring chicken, as he approaches 30, that can be the prime of his life given his affinity for being in immaculate shape for the season.

Good luck to him! And us!

P.S. After the way Levy treated us with Kane, he needs to be bent over if he asks about Jack!
Ah I didn’t know about the birth of his first child……maybe he has a chance to grow up and forget about the parties for a few years while he finishes his career …..long shot still with all the cash and opportunities to party but we will see.

There used to be a time when people would slate Wayne Bridge for being happy to sit on the bench, or in the stands, and watch as opposed to taking opportunities to go elsewhere and actually try to play football.

Yeah he has a contract here but if he actually loved the game he would go to a club where he has more opportunities to play the game he "loves" maybe? Perhaps he simply loves the money and trappings of being a footballer more than playing the game. This is not unheard of, many players see football as a means to an end. However, there are others who would happily play this game for free. Different people have different priorities I suppose.

We ended up paying 90 grand of Bridge's 100k a week wages just to get the **** off the bench and laugh at us in a Brighton shirt, the shit bastard

Little thing but I've noticed Jack being featured more on training photos etc the last few days. Could be nothing but could point towards him staying.

Recapping Peps quotes prior to the cwc. He stated that he spoke to Jack and he needed to stay behind and get the fire back in his belly he had in the treble season, feel the butterfly's of playing again, but listening again he never said he needed to leave just be left behind from that particular tournament. Could it have been the plan all along to give him extended leave sort his shit out and re join the squad fresh and hungry?

Spurs losing Son, Maddison out injured long term, missed out on Gibbs White. its kind of a Grealish shaped hole overall.

they got Palhinha on loan + option, he is a DM, Danso a CB, Kudus winger (right), Tel striker. its really the midfield with attacking skills where they need some more transfers.
