PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've an uncle who chucked Holden out of his bar in tennerefe and I was once chucked out of a club in Dublin for having a go at summerbee both of them slagin city fans off a pair of pricks not fit to wear the shirt give me white and Simpson any day
I bet Holden left the bar in Tenerife painfully slowly…

That is an insane statistic!
Utterly insane and that's why I added the caveat which I've since checked

We all remember Holden's faults, but he played virtually every PL game in 92-93 when City won 15 of their 42 games.

He then played 9 games at the start of 93-94 and his last appearance was the 1-1 draw v Oldham when presumably there was some kind of deal negotiated for his return to Boundary Park.

However whilst 3 consecutive defeats had signalled the end for Peter Reid, it's often forgotten that Brian Horton's reign started quite promisingly with 3 wins from the first 4 games.

So Holden's win percentage was roughly 18/51, and whilst not spectacular it was far superior to what followed, especially when you consider that our next four seasons in the PL included two relegations in 95-96 and 00-01

Do the people who say "Nothing, I'll come back next week" stay away for a whole week. I bet they don't, it's daily for me. Every morning even before reading the news.

We all need releasing from this.
I don’t expect this will come as a huge shock to many on here, and certainly not to any of the poor cunts on here who’ve been unlucky enough to meet me: I’m a hugely ebullient individual, so I’m not phased by this at all, principally because there’s fuck all I can do to change anything, but also because i think we’ll be fine. And if not, we’ll deal with it. Never a dull day following City!

But I understand that we’re all different. And for many blues this has spoiled things over the last three seasons, to varying degrees. And there’s no point someone like me saying ‘don’t let it’ because you are who you are. I get that. And it makes me a bit sad that they feel like that if I’m being honest.

So, for their sake I really hope this is sorted soon.

I remember Barnes being unplayable against Chelsea, think we won 6-2 , his wing play that day was unbelievable.
I remember that well. Barnes ran the full back Graham Wilkins (Ray's brother) absolutely ragged in the first half. Wilkins switched sides in the second half, so Barnes & Tueart switched as well. After another equally torrid time of it Wilkins, already on a booking, had clearly had enough and hacked down Barnes right in front of the ref. He didn't wait to be sent off, he ran off :-). It was comical.

Neither did I, to be fair.
Was thinking this the other day: the only City promotion/title win/ cup final I’ve missed being there in person since 1981 (other than that replay) was that night we watched the 2021 CL final together in Newton Heath.

Other than the Spurs reply, it’s the only ‘big’ game over the last 45 years I’ve not been at, and I spent it with you!

Night ended a bit flat as I recall.

All our staff are back, and there's not even a sniff of news It looks like even the hateful 8 are getting tired of how long it's dragging on as the legal bill grows. Everything points towards a very long battle indeed. Bet it's Oct-Feb time with appeals running for another year after that

That was the day before I moved to Somerset, as well.

I'm not taking the blame for us getting beat. I did not drop Dinho.
