It was always a myth they had no money. Look at their revenues even despite no European football. They can spend plenty.

Not a chance was Jim Ratcliffe ever going to put his hand in his pocket to pay for that new stadium, so pleading poverty to get the taxpayer to pay for it and asset stripping the organisation was always going to be the way forward.
Spot on all that bollox about being skint trying to get other clubs accepting the lowball offers, Brentford saw right through it and so will everyone else now they’ve seen that they do actually have money
Although it’s probably not their money
Just added to the billion they owe.
Even with amortisation that’s still gonna be upwards of £50m a year plus wages.
These cunts will never be debt free.
Remember you can be a billion in debt and spend what you want and keep adding to that debt.
But if your debt free and spend over the psr limit they’ll fine you and deduct points

Is this a case of them not being cash rich, but knowing they have highly paid assets about to leave? They’ve obviously got money given the size of the **** club, but this obscene spending won’t be anything like what they bring in. 15th they finished!

Can understand the scouse spending given their prize money and not spending last summer much. They only bought that flop Italian didn’t they?
They certainly have money.

That's for sure.

However, despite the fact they've got a long global reach into numerous income streams; they haven't got unlimited resources.

It's all well and good the media gaslighting us they're sitting pretty financially.

The reality (thanks to the Glazers) is that they're sitting on a £1,000,000,000.00 loan that needs servicing. Now I'm no account but I would imagine the interest on that per annum would significantly cut into those income streams.

Let's not forget (although, the media would rather you did) they've already been done for breaking financial rules.

The media would have us believe these were minor infringements. However, which ever way you spin it the rags are buckling.

Pssst, it doesn’t matter who they buy they’ll still be fuckin wank. New manager by December, top half finish at best.
Yeh that maybe true but it’s a result for the premier league seeing as they propped the club up with a 15th place finish.
A top half finish for the rags will get the same exposure as someone winning the fucking thing.

Cunha, Sesko, Mbueno 3 ok signings but that's not going to get them anywhere near top 4.
It won’t improve much as they’ve not addressed the real issues. Shit keeper and leaky defence.

On paper Rashford and that vampire looking **** are better than who they’ve bought. I don’t know much about Sesko.

I thought shit always fell to the bottom how come this shit club is always in the top of this topic.

The only thing I can think of is the 400 that lost their jobs must have been on £500k a year, that’s £200m right coz the scruffy **** did say they would be broke by the end of December right?
Plus I think we are being a bit harsh on all these players saying it’s all about money
They were yanked from the womb wearing the famous red shirts.
The media and the premier league simply cannot lose their cash cow regardless how fucking shite they are.
The league desperately needs a regulator
to flush this corrupt club out along with uncle masters.
Newcastle’s owners dropped a huge bollock siding with the cartel and now they reap what they sow, as always it’s the fans that suffer.
Newcastle's owners weren’t Newcastle's owners then.

it really doesnt look like a club tho that are in any financial issue, or cannot spend big due to missing out on CL.

if Sesko goes through its 200m spent, with little sales so far. they hoping some good deals out of Antony, Garnacho, Sancho etc, could end as loans too.

lot less home games this season which should hit their matchday income, zero Uefa revenue, Adidas paying them less, all this doesnt affect their spending ability.

lets hope they need to pay to terminate Amorim and his staff contracts around January.

PSR works in mysterious ways, you would think it doesnt let such underperforming club to spend their way out of trouble but it does, and to add extra help it still manages to limit the ambitious clubs (Villa, Newcastle) ready capitalize on a much biggers (but badly run) club's demise...

or maybe Ratcliffe pulls the woman team sale trick too if in trouble. but he needs to pay for that as Glazers wont put a penny towards it. Glazers quite clever, they let Ratcliffe do all the heavy lifting...

If I were in Masters' position I would say to the likes of the rags, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs: "Right you've gotten yourselves into this mess - guess what? I'm recommending all financial restrictions pertaining to the Premier League nil and void from immediate effect."

"It's open season you fuckers - Premier League clubs can now spend whatever they want and if that means your respective clubs missing out on silverware or going bust trying to compete with MCFC then more fool you."

The media would slaughter him. Before you could say “hit job” he’d be out on his arse in weeks.

While Freightliner is understood to have expressed a willingness to relocate from Trafford Park to nearby St Helens, the company is seeking around £400m for the land, with United valuing it at between £40m and £50m. Ratcliffe has made it clear United are unwilling to accept the asking price set by Freightliner’s parent company, Brookfield, and initial discussions are believed to have reached an impasse.
