If they were to apply to make the current stadium a listed building and were successful, would the tax payer have to fund the 'maintenance' work it needs?

Very true.

Funny how clubs gathered together looking for us to get done regarding the 115 charges and also wanting to be kept in the loop.

As you've said, Why are clubs not looking for answers?

The Rags had to let go tea ladies because they couldn't afford to keep their job, Yet they can splash another £200m plus on shiny new toys...

I'd hate to think what's going on behind closed door with the league and clubs and the shit they get up to, Grow a set of bollocks and look for answers as to what the fuck is going on.
They must have been the best paid tea ladies in the world. utd trading them in for a £200m strike force. They'll probably still regret letting the tea ladies go

No. Local authorities CAN make urgent repairs to listed buildings (usually if unused and derelict) but should look to recover those costs.

I now see that someone last year got a petition going for it to be a Grade II listed building on change.org.
They've already thought of trying that then.

I wasn't able to recall the process. Cheers you have jogged my memory and I think there is something bout the owner being legally obliged to keep these building in good condition?

SSN speaking of Theatres of Dreams. FFS...let it go.
It's awkward as fuck isn't it?

Mike asking the question on every bodies lips.

"Newcastle are a team on the up, not so for the rags, so why then would Sesko choose utd?"

"Well, er, well.. It's the Theater of Dreams, one of the biggest commercial clubs in the world - it speaks volumes of the pull they still have"

No mention of the lack of ambition from the player of course.

The rags have become a free hit for professional footballers' who (I assume have seen the rags play over the past few years) know that very little will be expected of them, while still picking up significant wages week in week out.

No, you're not the only one. Myself and pretty much everyone I have spoken to (including a few rags, oddly enough) echo those sentiments verbatim.
£2 billion, when the club are laying off staff to save money? Either 'Mr 27%' is pulling a fast one or he's suffering with some bizarre mental issue - or both. Either way talk of a new cutting edge stadium for the rags is just pie in the sky - sports.
Costs will be offset in accounts like covid and share selling

We play them at Old Toilet for our opening game - it's vital we get their season off to a disappointing start to crush any hopes they might have had.

Hope Zubimendi kicks Bruno in the balls
Doubt it, you always shit the bed at the swamp.

So much for them being hamstrung by finishing 15th and winning nothing. Really pissed me off this how they’re still managing to attract decent players.

Would Mbuemo and Sesko go to fucking Everton or Fulham? Similar standard and league position. How come Spurs couldn’t offer Mbeumo the same wages, plus they’re in Europe, and Newcastle with the Saudi owners having so much cash.

How much longer do these cunts have to be shit before players snub them?

Desperately hope these signings flop like Hojlund and many before him; Sancho, Sanchez, Pogba, Lindelof, etc.

If these cunts finish top 4 I’m done with football. Just sick of them. Need properly kicking while they’re down, fuck the bastards off to the championship.

The fact that Chelsea could just spend a ridiculous amount of money to get themselves in a decent position again and now United are doing similar after finishing 15th is just ridiculous.

The league is so far catered now to the “big” 6 sides it’s making the rest of the league a bit of a farce. If a team has the audacity to gate crash the champions league places they then can’t invest further to stay there and their best players are then cherry picked.

There is no jeopardy for tbese clubs. They can just spend and spend until they get it right. It’s all a bit shit tbh
