You can't compare Silva with Jack. The eye test alone tells you who the much superior players was.

By bringing Scholes into the conversation you are comparing the two players. You think Jack should be in the team most Blues think he should probably be on his way as he hasn't produced enough in performance or in goals and assists. That's not how it works. Using a player as an example of someone that has crap stats but was a good player isn't directly comparing Grealish and Scholes. If you can't understand that we can stop the conversation here mate.

Those are the stats that matter when you retire. They are not the stats that matter ro evaluators who have to pick between 2 or 3 players to try to improve the team.

No evaluator in their right mind is taking Grealish over Salah None.

No, no, no. You got it all wrong. Those evaluators are all useless. Just take a look at goalkeeping, for example, everyone knows Richard Wright is easily one of the best goalkeepers in the PL. All you have to do is look at his trophy haul. An absolute legend and one of the goalkeeping greats but the evaluators and the stats would try to tell you otherwise. Right?

Apparently to get the real opinion about Jack here, one would have to hop in a time machine, throw him in a red shirt and have him replicate the exact same performances he has since he joined us, only then can we get a genuine analysis of him as a footballer.

The same ones that would tell you "Rashford" is useless, Bruno Pernandes is trash, and the rags would have been better off starting a bonfire with the money they spent on Pogba are the same ones that would do a 180 degree turn and suggest Jack is a great performer. How? What metric are we judging these players' individual performances by? Keyword individual

Always thought it odd how grown men idolise footballers. Can understand kids, but adults should really be able to see it better.

I think everybody likes Grealish, it’s hard not too but in football terms it’s time to go. Ridiculous fee and ridiculous wages. The ridiculous fee and wages are not his fault but the clubs. When paying record fees for attackers you expect game changers, wow moments on the pitch but all we talk about is recycling possession and winning fouls.

As for integral to the treble, or wouldn’t have won the treble without him, yes he contributed really positively in the last 3 months of that season no question but he wasn’t as integral as Ederson, Stones who we even named a role on the pitch after, Dias, Walker, Rodri, KDB, Mahrez, Haaland, Gundogan. He will always be remembered for being part of that side and it’s great but the, we wouldn’t have won the treble without him shouts are wrong in my opinion.

His fans elevate him to a level blows the mind sometimes, on another thread he was compared to Johan Cruyff.

He’s a great lad by all accounts and always come across well at City but for me personally after a poor 1st season, a really successful 2nd season with 3 months of great form followed by 2 poor seasons it’s time to let go.

A club like city do need better I’m afraid. Even Jonathon Greening and Luke Chadwick won a treble.
