Oh I know, my weapon of choice has always been the double edged sword. The fact you've put this in a reply where you're agreeing with dax is pretty fucking funny.

Apologies, didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I wasn't talking politics just noticing a similar pattern in the level of revisionism when it comes to evaluating footballers based on their individual statsWhen you're failing to make a point always revert to politics and make stuff up in your head. That's the spirit
So... you got the last word? ;)Okay mate, you put words in people's mouths and then say "let's leave it" and we all have to do what you say hahaha
How many of these big wages key players whos form drop off a cliff have been successful, genuinelyGrealish, sancho and sterling all in the same situation this summer
So... you got the last word? ;)
Yeh I think you might be talking my analogy a bit too literal there mate lol. Obviously I’m not saying Jack is in the same class as Merlin. Just making the point that stats can be deceptive. Look at the Van Dyke ‘never being dribbled past’ stat. And yes, my eyes aren’t what they were thank you very much ;)You can't compare Silva with Jack. The eye test alone tells you who the much superior players was.
It's a thin line between a player being an asset and a liability.Lets be honest, if the club can get someone to pay half of Jacks wages then they are saving £600,000 a month?
Just for clarity as I see this post has caused a few unnecessary arguments. I wasn’t comparing Merling to Jack. I was actually saying Merlin was an even better player than his stats suggested. Trying to prove a point that stats are deceiving. For example, you don’t see stats flashed up on Sly Sports when a player makes runs to make space for other players to run through and score- one of the most important skills in football. Jack went through a period when he was brilliant at this and also keeping possession, allowing us to keep control and shape. I honestly believe if we are going to play more attacking, higher risk and high paced football as the CWC suggested - with the new assistant coach in place - then Jack could thrive again as a squad player. His popularity within the team is also important. Again - there’s no stat for the importance of this to the dressing room.Imagine being Haaland and losing 2 best mates in Kev and Jack all in one go. It has to affect your mind set in some way. But I also understand that realistically he’s probably going to move on and that being seen out hammered on numerous occasions doesn’t look good to his criticsStats aren’t everything though. Davis silva must have had the highest assist of assists ever. I recon Grealish was involved in some stage in most of the goals that have been scored whilst on the pitch. I do feel it is probably time to move on though if possibly
City want the loan club to fully pay his weekly wage. Probably why it's been so difficult to get him loaned out.Lets be honest, if the club can get someone to pay half of Jacks wages then they are saving £600,000 a month?

Maybe, maybe not. But I like us telling the loan club that's what we expect. And I think we should stand firm on this. They arent going to get a club to do that though?
Why wouldn't he love us? The team has carried him to a trophy haul he could only dream of. The fans have been more than fair considering his on field performances. Nice lad or not he has been a huge disappointment here.Jack's sound lads, leave him alone
I'll be sad if/when he goes as he has openly admitted how much he loves us
Talking of deams I found it utterly bizarre when he joined us saying joining City was a dream come true. Seeing as he came through Villa's academy from being a 6 year old kid I bet Villa fans were bemused and pissed off with him saying that. Why wouldn't he love us? If we're only saving 5m over the season it makes sense to keep him in my opinion.Just for clarity as I see this post has caused a few unnecessary arguments. I wasn’t comparing Merling to Jack. I can confirm from your stance on Joe, not Hart by the way, the other one.My wife says I'm a right **** for it
Should do, for whoever signs him it’s still a top drawer England international for a season without having to pay a transfer or loan fee. They arent going to get a club to do that though?
