Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

wonder if he is asked about Liverpool spending in the presser in the coming weeks will he say something again along the lines "not true, its only City spending these amounts".
:)

or he does a reverse Klopp:D
Nope, no need to do all of that, everyone knows, they just wouldn't admit it. Instead he should pile all the fucking pressure on them, talk about them being the best team now and how expectations are high with all the money they have spent, how unforgiving the league is and Wirtz being the most expensive footballer in the world and how the PL is excited to have "one of the best footballer in the world" here, throw in how we would struggle to keep up with them and how you expect teams to roll over for them.

Let's get the likes of Newcastle, Nottingham and Crystal Palace fired up, give them a reason to go against the narrative that we set.

Can't explain this feeling I have that this is his last season.

All the new young signings being possibly loaned out makes me think they were all bought with the new guy in mind who may already be locked in as Pep was when Pelligrini announced he was going.

Could be wrong.

But if he is I would fancy us doing another treble as his swansong.

Pep will spend long minutes in each presser apologizing to his players of not selecting them if he wants to keep everybody in the end...

will be interesting vs Palermo as he may opt for 11 players first half, then 11 different players second half and that still leaves 5/6 players not getting onto the pitch.

It almost certainly will be.

We won't win the big honours, pressure will mount, the charges will add to all of that.

All in all, an environment he probably needs to step away from.

Or we have a young exciting energetic squad challenging maybe winning the league that he want's to develop over the next 2 years, and leave for the next manager. Nothing is certain, reckon mines more likely than yours though.

It happens, your feel for a place changes, the players he loved leave, staff, his Mrs, club moving in another direction.

Its the same club you love, but it just doesn't quite feel right.

I think we all realise that this squad isn't good enough to replicate what we have done, but he will still face the same expectation.

I wan him to go on a real high, so fingers crossed we do something good somehow.

I see what you are doing but excluding Gvardiol is a step too far. The rest, while absurd, wouldn't shock me.
