Burnham is not a part of Trafford Council planning dept. He can suggest things, thats all. Fact is I would wager that the freight depot pays at least as much in business rates to Trafford as MUFC currently do...and if they move to St Helens, that would be a significant loss to the council coffers.

utd fan at work said he was excited about Sesko signing. Turned out he'd never seen him play!
I'd never even heard of him up to a couple of days ago. But I'm guessing he'll be more Wout Weghorst than Erling Haaland.

Their understanding of irony is on par with your average American.

If spending was synonymous with success then the rags should have won the quadruple at least four times since the pisscan called it a day.

Burnham's always been a political lightweight - don't forget he got absolutely hammered by Corbyn when he tried to get the Labour Party leadership.

I think Freightliner are big enough to look after themselves - 'compulsory purchase order' my arse! He's a fuckin' moron.

Talking about self awareness. A red mate messaged me the other day saying wtf you spend £27 on a youngster (Reis) and then loan him out. Absolute ridiculous he said. I then messaged him back saying didn’t United do the same with Amad Diallo. His reply included references to Brexit and that was why they had to do that deal.
