City's travelling squad for Palermo clash confirmed
Pep Guardiola has selected a 22-man squad to travel to Palermo for Saturday's Anglo Palermitan Trophy.www.mancity.com
Weird, has to do with a knock or two i guess.yeah, but Gvardiol and Foden not there too
I'll take a guess at there being a fully equipped gym, medical facilities and staff in ManchesterPlayers not fit why can't they get fit there the squad will be training I assume
who's on at coop live this weekend ;)No Rodri or Foden. Hope neither are long injuries, otherwise we got a challenging start ahead of us.
YES. He is a big talent and I wonder if he has come in for Echeverri as he plays the same role (if differently) as Claudio is deemed not fully fit.Made up for Mukasa he’s a big talent first call up to the senior squad.
He is a very talented kid though. I suspect this is the club showing him that he is part of the plans, to ward off other prestigious clubs will that will circle someone like him.All this chatter about a bloated squad and we are taking a kid on the first pre-season game to make up the numbers.
There's potential for 2 different 11's there, still think we'll see a preliminary wolves 11 based on what we've got available for 70 minutes though.
Got to get used to being comfortable without Rodri too, hes going to have injuries this season and likely have to have a couple of breaks anyway even if he doesn't, that and accepting he won't be the balon D'or winning Rodri this season either.
Easy to get there, went via Uber for ease, BUT was 40€ .Was it easy enough to get there?
Thinking about going Sunday

Wasn't knocking the lad, just pointing out it only takes a couple of absentees for the squad to start looking thin.He is a very talented kid though. I suspect this is showing him he is a part of the plans as other prestigious clubs will circle someone like him.
I alluded to it the other day, that I think we will make use of a lot of the squad across the various competitions, in a way that we haven't really done before because of the small squad.
Yes, I didn't think you were.Wasn't knocking the lad, just pointing out it only takes a couple of absentees for the squad to start looking thin.
I really think within the next few years we will see a big shift in the way teams manage their squads. I think Chelsea last season showed a glimpse of it with their cup squad.
The squads will get bigger, at first it might have to be down the chelsea route of leaving youngsters out of certain squads but eventually they'll extend the 25 man squad rule to accomodate. Its the only genuine solution to the increasing schedule as we know the games arent going to stop coming.
Will they charge us £20 for a £5 ticket on the bus then?!City advised that buses will be put on and will suggest a meet up location
