Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

If we do go back into the market for a winger as Fabrizio claims we might if we sell Savinho, would it be worth the call to Arsenal about Saka given his contract situation there?

Would they do it at 120 Million? Does he get his head turned?

It’s a tough one. I do wonder if he’s been shown the door. Didn’t play in the final games. Pep mentioned more exits. Can’t shift the ‘uncs’ as they call them. He’s 20/21 years old. He must be top 5 or so wingers in that category. Unless there is a direct upgrade its a little baffling. Chelsea esque.

Only shown in fits and starts for my money - lack of physical attributes is a problem also - shooting and finishing poor . No great loss at all in my opinion - Take the money and invest it in a right back
Agree with every word. Soon as it gets tough he's not interested. Heart the size of an aspirin.

I’d love to see this just for the arsenal meltdown : )

I think maybe we are over-emphasising the level he is at. He’s not got the G+A we need. He is the worst senior winger we have behind Grealish so naturally if you couldn’t sell the older players then he would be near the top. But he has huge amounts of potential to improve. He will probably take 2 or so years to get there. I think he was okay in his first year not good enough in front of goal, but good 1v1 and very direct. I do think if you want an instant hit and level-raiser it’s not a bad move but could be one that bites us back

He was the third equal top assister in the league last season despite it being his first season and him not playing every game. Wayward finisher but that’s a decent start

Not sure of the exact stat and where Sav attained the assists, but he seemed to get a few when playing on the left.

And then he was never played there again.

If this happens we are a joke. Every team getting young players and we selling everyone that young and keep the old ones that can barely run. Make it make sense
It's the club/Pep's 'thing'.

If a player is unhappy and wants to move, they tell the agent to bring them a suitable offer. I don't always like it, and sometimes, especially with this one so late in the window, I wish they'd put their foot down and say no, but it gives the club a good reputation for working with players/agents.

He had the most assists last season no?
