Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

We're massively overrating Savinho, we'll get about the same fee for him as Forest did for Elanga, probably a touch more with add ons.

Savinho was our top assister ?

We can teach him finishing. Would help if we didnt pass sideways in our first half..
 
If we sell him I cant see the club going for a replacement.

I think Pep will just play Foden, Bernardo, Bobb or Cherki there.

Silly decision if they agree to this, imo.

Don't get me wrong, I rate him. I just think we're well stocked in his position.

I'd rather we lose some of the dead weight at centre mid and centre back first but if nobody wants those players then we still need to trim the fat.
 
I hope he goes for a good fee, I am fine with this sale. We have Bobb and Cherki for RW. Foden as well. I doubt they would add a buyback clause but its something we could do as well.

I just looked he was top in assists with 8 last season. And he was injured a lot as well. Idk I don’t like this at all if true

I can’t exactly recall where the assists came from. Most of the time he was wasteful in front of goal. Didn’t provide as much of an outlet 1v1 or the ball security of Doku. I’m not against it if someone better comes in.

Yea Foden was trash last season, bob injured all season and is still unproven imo. Let’s sell our top assist maker and keep the other true. Genius

Bobb isnt unproven, up until his injury it was very clear he was levels above savhino. Foden had a poor season last season but so did everyone on the team, he still has quality.

Honestly this top assister thing means very little, he's an attacking player in usually the best attack in the country.

10 assists as a wide player with Haaland in the middle should be the bare minimum. The big reason we weren't the best attack in the league last year is because he got 1 goal. The goals and assists haven't been enough from our wide players.

1 of Doku or Savinho was always going to fall foul in my opinion.

We shouldn't be going back into the market for a winger. We are already stacked. We should get rid of grealish savnhio, gundo and kova and get another midfielder and we are set.
