Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

I think what is slightly concerning is that another talented young player wants to leave the club and presumably doesn’t see a pathway to becoming a regular starter. I wonder if our recent signings have made him think his minutes will be limited.

Pep seems to always favour older more experienced players

Nahh I’d rather see Bob Cherki foden in the starting line up before him! Great potential and spurs will probably play him on the right and he will be great for them but this is about game time for Savino and h ain’t getting a lot this season for us, at spurs he will be there main man!

I can't help but feel Savio feels like he won't play enough to grab that right wing spot for Brazil at the world cup, which is up in the air at the moment with Rodrygo not getting a look in at Real Madrid, and Ancellotti who dropped him for Madrid, now the Brazil manager.

Spurs have Kudus and Brennan Johnson who have established themselves more in the PL so far than Savinho so he's not even a guaranteed starter every week there either.

Two contradicting statements there.
The recent signings are all very young.
 
Good as long as we replace with better but I know one thing this season is gonna be a long one and already injuries are starting and we are not even signing a right back which we desperately need .

Who was our main right winger last season? Who do you think it is this season?

Yes some of them are young, but do we actually give them enough time to develop?

We’ve had lots of young players leaving the club recently, whether from the academy or not as well.
 
The player wants to leave. Can't understand how he isn't first choice every game. WC year.

We haven't started the season yet, but I would be staggered if Bobb, Foden, Cherki, Doku don't get game time, and they are whom Sav is competing against.
I personally think Sav is a great talent, but there is a lot of competition in forward areas, especially if Echeverri stays.

so our whole pace on the wings is gone again? Only relying on Doku again? Going to be a long season. I don’t get this transfer strategy. Buying/ selling every young talent but doesn’t wanna sell Kovacic( I am happy that he is staying just an example) .
We will give up everyone beside the one the club should actually sell. It’s hilarious. We don’t buy a right back and create our problems for no reason and now we wanna sell 1 of our 2 actual wingers to revert to zero again.
Foden/Cherki/Bobb. At some time they are all the same players. Our counter attacks going to be cruel again.
 
Always thought he doesn't have the mentality to make it at City and it obviously shows if he wants to leave already. His body language on the pitch isn't the best and other than the odd little flick or nutmeg hasn't done much at all. >£75m sell.

Yep is was Savino this season Bob Cherki foden for me are ahead of him! Can see why he wants to go am not bothered those three mentioned id be more pissed if they didn’t start before Savino!
 
He's got to be hitting Mahrez numbers , he's no where near that , potential yes.

Leave it to the management they are the best judge for this .

He has academy produced Oscar Bobb as his main competiton, seems to me much like when one on one with a decent defender or when in on goal he has decided to avoid a challenge and opt out.

If he isn't willing to fight for a starting place he hasn't the mentality to be a 1st team regular in our team and so if he wants to go, I wouldn't stop him.
