Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

We have to sell someone to get the numbers down and some cash in, so maybe this is the only option, a player who Pep seems is disposable. Knowing us it will be a low fee we sell for

If we get £90m+ for McAtee & Savinho then that’s excellent business in isolation. But as many have already said a big factor will be who comes in to replace.

Unless Pep thinks this is Bobbs year & between Bernado, Cherki & Bobb the right is creative enough.

For me, this depends purely on who, if anyone, we’d replace him with.

If no replacement it’d be a no. We’d be fucking mental to lose two wingers (him and Grealish) in one window, without replacements.

The suggested 70m is tidy and we could do good business with it.
poster before said Paqueta, that’s a massive improvement on Savinho

Selling to rivals again, bound to rip us first home game, why oh why and to that lot? Cole 2.0 . He's only 20 and needs another season

Mixed feeling about this.

If it was based solely on last season, I would probably sell at the right price. However, the right price for selling to that **** Levy would be mega-inflated. I am actually surprised we are even willing to do any business with him.

Sav is a talented player, no doubt, but overall I was disappointed with him last year and he might just be the worst finisher I have seen in a long time, especially for someone with said talent. The hope would have been that he is young, it was his 1st season in a new league and he would improve massively with more experience but maybe Pep just doesn’t see it and doesn’t want to wait around on the off-chance.

I also think that the Sav, Doku and Grealish trifecta is absolutely abysmal as a wide forward selection in terms of numbers, so they really don’t help each other. You can’t have a situation where 2/3rds of your forward line don’t create or score goals. Doku and Sav are both project players and it simply didn’t work last season. If the same happened again this season, you could kiss goodbye to any hopes of winning the PL or CL.

If he does go, I am probably more concerned about what we are left with and the plan. Is Bobb our man? It could be argued he is no less a project than Sav. Does this mean Cherki or Foden gets pushed out wide? Will we get the “pleasure” of Bernie grazing out there with his finger up his arse for most of the season again?

Agreed mate, We need a replacement in if both Savinho and Grealish leave.
