Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

If both Grealish and Savinho leave you have to go back into the market. Your wing options are limited we'd only have Bobb and Doku as out and out wingers.
 
Given we only paid 20m (I think) if we can book 40m plus profit in 12 months it will be great PSR wise and probably open up some big opportunities in the market moving forward.
 
He's going to end up better than Mahrez. 80 million MINIMUM from that twat Levy.
 
£50 mill is taking the piss,what is actually going on we depth in our squad not becoming a selling club,if the player wants out so be it,but on our terms £75mill and we are good to go ..

No one fucking knows ! We will never get an good explanation for that !
Bobb is just better. His pre season ability against an Serie B team showed it. The same team our average savinho once again got an assist ( top assister btw) in.
 
Just try and have a bit of faith that we know what we are doing.

If he wants out, which by the sounds of things he does, then fuck him.
 
There is no space, so even if we sell him, no one will replace him this summer.
 
Go PSG and test their resolve with Barcola would fit us like a glove.
 
I said last May that I had a feeling that one of either Savinho or Doku could leave. I actually think this makes sense - yes he's got a lot of potential but from what we've seen playing both of them from the start leaves us vulnerable to counter attacks and considering how offensive they are, the stats just don't add up when you look at goals to chances. Also more importantly I can't see how we can fit more crucial players into our system within the team.

If the fee is right it will help and maybe we can go back into the market to deal with a more pressing need.

Finally If it happens I hope we make Spurs pay the right kind of fee. A McAtee/ Savinho sale should bring in a decent amount. Besides there seems to be no takers for our older players on higher wages - over to you Hugo.

yeah and no speed on the wings beside Doku and he has great acc, not so much speed.
 
We watch and observe City over the years. A potential sale of Savinho would be a masterstroke, not a mistake. We are good in the market. If we don’t want to, we don’t sell our key players. This all looks like a planned operation called Rodrigo. But don’t announce that you want to buy a new player, because his value goes up, and don’t announce that you want to sell a player, because his value goes down.

A few days ago Levy publicly defused the tension regarding the charges issue, today there are ongoing talks about selling Savio for a good price. If Savinho leaves, we will almost certainly need someone. The club won’t leave RW with only Bobb, who I hope will crush it this season, but he can’t be the only option — especially since he’s still really just coming back from injury. There’s also the option of Foden or Bernardo, but even Pep probably sees that as a plan B.

We’ll see, but for example, I would swap Savinho for Rodrigo. Savinho has potential, he does his job, but he’s still not Mahrez. I hope one day he will be. Today I prefer Rodrigo, because I think we’ll be stronger — much stronger — Rodrigo will deliver far more concrete numbers.
