Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

After a promising start he’s been largely underwhelming.

We should be open to offers north of £60m but Spurs will probably try for a similar fee to what we paid for him.

I’d prefer to see him stay. He’s only 21 and there’s a lot more to come I’m sure.
 
This would be a shocker of a move. But it would be a huge leap of faith from the club in Bobb.

Savinho is a good player and only going to get better. He has everything to become one of the best and is only young so going to improve. His main issue now is finishing but everything else is good. IMO anyway.

Once he gets that composure, he has the potential to be unstoppable.

To let that go to another team in the same league would be criminal. Especially to that Levy ****.

I can only presume he’s indicated he would want to go there/leave the club in general and thus we’d rather have committed players over those who have their heads turned. I also suspect they’ve done the leg work behind the scenes before actually coming to us.
 
In my opinion he’s had his chance and hasn’t done enough so would sell him for the right price. If he stays, he’s going to have to rip up trees. With Bobb back and fit again and Cherki coming in I think he’s going to struggle to anywhere near half the amount of games he’s had previously. Obviously has talent and potential but his finishing is poor and he goes through phases of not working hard enough. He is also a complete fanny in challenges.

I wonder if they’d want to double up and take Doku too…

Bend over Levy, you obnoxious little **** and you can have him.
 
Not too surprised on this. Think CFG bought him to flip and he turned out to be a better prospect than expected. He has talent and could go either way but his output G/A not been great. I guess Pep and other coaching staff will have better idea of his ultimate ceiling but if we can pick up £60m plus and move on that’s fine with me. Hopefully will get others interested if Spurs are making moves.

People want it both ways . Want to win the league and CL but also want players who aren't up to it but have potential to play all the time .

Viana trying to build relationships I guess. Could see us doing business with Napoli in the future.

Im pretty sure we are and hes called Rodrigo. You cant bring Rodrigo without sell/loan out one of Savio/Bobb. If thats a choice then Im all for choosing Savio to be sold rather than Bobb
