Good lord, I hope he is better than that ex rag **** tbhBased on what exactly??
A couple of starts and a few sub appearances more than 12 mk this ago before he broke his leg!
I mean, Bobbs turning into some sort of mythical football player.
He's had 17 appearances for city and scored 1 goal. That's it. Most of those off the bench.
Its just bizarre that everyone talks him up into some Angel Di Maria Wonder kid and should start for a new look city side.
Or get rid of one and not buy the other, who is a mirror image of the one you are getting rid of.Wish I could create a poll for this, but would you sell Savinho for £55m, and buy Rodrygo for £95m, or just keep Savinho?
Most sensible post on this thread. As disappointing as it would be to lose him, it does seem like it's come entirely from him rather than the club. Either he isn't interested in fighting to be our first choice winger or Spurs are offering him a healthy pay rise, if not both
In whatever case, good luck to him. I'm sure we'll be fine in the long run
Whats last season got to do with what I said?hes played 3000 mins. 7th most used player last season. Played the most mins out of anyone in CWC. He got plenty game time
Still young and has plenty of wriggle room for development. We gave Gabriel Jesus time to try and make a mark at CIty.
Worse things could be said about someone that turned 21 in the springI like Sav but I think the harshest thing I can say about him is that he's about Spurs's level.
Based on?Not so, Bobb is miles ahead of Savinho, without breaking his leg last season he would have grown into a great player
Once!!! A single moment.Based on his coolness against Newcastle When City needed the win and KDB found him and he did a bit of magic and scored the winner
Once!!! A single moment.
That's it.... That's what everyones basing this off. A single moment.
What im saying is it’s now what matters not a season ago when he played well in Spain it’s the here and now . Not saying he’s crap but I do believe we need better to get back to the top.And I guess by that logic the replacement can only come from the premier league or does what they did in spain/France/italy/Brazil matter?
What evidence is the for this? What we do know is that the club has accumulated too many players and now finds itself having to offload young talent. The lad played 3000 minutes last year but will be moved on to accommodate players who could not and probably can no longer manage that and who certainly won’t be here long term.As disappointing as it would be to lose him, it does seem like it's come entirely from him rather than the club. Either he isn't interested in fighting to be our first choice winger or Spurs are offering him a healthy pay rise, if not both.
Cherki has played the majority of his games on the wing…????if we start o play Cherki as a winger for me it's a case of here we go again.. playing somebody totally out of their position and hoping it works. Haven't we learnt anything from Grealish, Nunes and Gvardiol
