Jack Grealish | Set to join Everton on season-long loan

It's not an odd take at all. He hasn't worked out here; he's going to a relegation fodder club before fulfilling his contract. I love Jack, he's a wonderful human being and I wish him well, but he isn't going to re-establish himself here. We need to accept it was a failed vanity project, and move on.
He's going to Everton, not United!

Not his fault but his transfer was a huge mistake, one of many reasons why this squad transition isn't going well

Best of luck to him. Seems a decent bloke and liked us. Everton fans must be absolutely buzzing about this.

About his level tbh. I assume all the grealish fan boys will be lumping on Everton now getting top 5? After all grealish wins games by himself.

A crap signing was never city level. Good riddance.
And i get pelters on here for my opinions. Thats downright unfair on Jack. Wasnt a crap signing at all. Just didnt turn out to be the 100 million superstar we hoped. If he had cost 40milion he wouldnt get any stick at all.

He played in the middle and got MOTM at home to Forest last season. Everyone was thinking the Foden issue would be solved for the rest of the season. Yet he followed it up with a competely anonymous performance in the same position at Juventus… and Pep felt he couldn’t trust him.

He then picked up yet another injury which I think lost Pep completely.

He didnt get Motm, Kdb did.

I'll always love Jack. The transfer fee wasn't his fault and the hatred he gets from other fanbases (and sometimes even our own) is downright strange for someone who, by all accounts, is a genuinely kind and decent person.

Played a crucial role in our treble season, we'll never forget that.
I don't think the extra attention he gets from opposition fans is all that weird, he plays the pantomime villain role and laps it up, think he even said once that he thrives off it. It's exactly the response you'd expect.

Not seen a recent list but I wouldn't dispute that. We're not paying unrivaled numbers though, the other big sides pay similar amounts
Lets say he does and he decides he wants to stay there, why would they offer £50m when they can just offer the same loan deal again which we wont be in any position to reject at that point and just wait 12 months to get him for free?

If they're not willing to pay or at least commit to paying in the future, now, they're not going to suddenly change that stance in 12 months time when we have practically no bargaining power.
If he has a stormer and they don’t want him, sound, he can come back to us and win another treble.

Think he'll do well at Everton, and I'm curious to see where they play him

He'll be good on the counter for them and will win plenty of free kicks, which Moyes will be rubbing his hands with

Wish him all the best.
As plenty have stated, wasn't his fault we went daft with the transfer fee.
Still believe he needs help with some of his alleged issues - but that'll be down to him more than anyone else
