The echo was once as semi decent read. I don't know who own these kind of news sites, they are all the same though, full of shit and bollocks.

Can't even be used as emergency loo roll! Leaves ones device covered in shite.

We know it’s shite, but it’s a story we’ve heard numerous times from different journalists. London had the highest number of Irish born by 1850 & Manchester 3rd where they settled in the slums of little Ireland or Angel Meadow…..

Just for once, maybe the club could say if we conduct ourselves better, maybe just fucking maybe we’ll be shown a bit of respect.

Surprisingly there are some sensible comments on the Echo article. The whole booing the anthem thing is relatively new and seems to driven by a desire to appear different and special. It really is just sad and embarrassing.

It is a rather recent occurrence (don't remember them or any other team booing the National Anthem in finals when i was growing up).
Just because the media puts them on a false pedestal on a daily basis doesn't mean the rest of us will.

This prompted the commentary to state the forward knew he was up against VVD in a battle he wouldn't win so give up and then spent the next 5 mins that he has that mental effect on strikers to give up!.
The forward was never getting the ball even if there was no defender there.
