Seem to remember the consensus last season being "he's sh1te, not nearly good enough for us", etc. Surprised how many people seem to think he's the next Messi all of a sudden. Personally agree with the post I responded to.
 
I did note that when he was congratulated for his assist against Palermo by his teammates, he seems a little distant. Certainly didn't crack a smile or anything. Likely spurs had already made contact before then so he had an inkling. Silly boy if he goes, they must be promising to build a team around him or something, but alas mediocrity awaits in North London.

Hope he stays personally, but if he's gone this far then he'll do well to get out before Pep's boot makes contact with his rear.
 
I think hindsight blurs a lot of opinions about players.

I remember watching a podcast with Steven and Ahsan when someone hinted at an outgoing out of the blue that can happen at city.
Slowly news pouring out about Palmer may leave City and 35-40 million was touted as the fees.
At that point of time, I was quite relieved it was Palmer and not Bernardo or KDB and the fees looked superb.
Few years down the line, I still squirm whenever Palmer scores for Chels.

This is what it is right!
Is Savio the next Palmer Salah KDB Robben who was let go by a top club quite early or he becomes the new Jesus or Solanki who never fulfils it’s potential and the price received was too good to turn down.

Guess we will see it in the season 27-28 when Spurs beat us 5-0 at Etihad with a hattrick from Savio.
 
Spurs not willing to go near the 60m and matter now closed - it was fun whilst it lasted. They're not coming back in if they're as affirmly saying it's closed. Shame, that would have been an enormous upgrade for us.
 
Tactic imo as Savinho would defo be a moody fucker if it has gone this far and then doesnt happen, especially if Pep has approved him leaving.

He’s certainly got the ability. a few of those many sitters go in last season and people would say he had a great first season at 21 in a new league. It’s all become very stats based for opinions. It’s fairly clear to see he’s got the natural ability to be a top winger. Whether it happens or not time will tell. Seems too soon to offload the lad though.
 
Who leaked it then why not keep it all in house this how much do you want for Savino! But no levy the kunt low balled us then say we ain’t going near 60m then we said matter closed!

With the way football is at the moment with all the stupid PSR and FFP if you get the chance to make tens of millions profit on a player who isn't a regular starter then you pretty much have to take it.
