Maybe Bernardo can still do a job at RW, probably would be a waste of Reijnders at 10.

Been watching most of my 29 years, no he wasn’t and no he isn’t.

Gvardiol miles better, Cancelo miles better when played there in 21/22. Delph was also better. Ake too.

In fact he’s the worst player to have played there, rose tinted specs because he was a nice feller and cost the price of a variety pack of walkers.

Say Rodrygo were to come in as well, and we lost one of the Marmoush twins, and Echeverri went on loan, we’d still be 1 over for CL, so one of that lot will miss out on CL.

My money would be on Khusanov or Nico G, due to age.

Beggars belief that we’ll probably loan out Echeverri, in addition to Reis, and lose a player from the A list for CL because we can’t manage to sell Gundogan, Akanji or Kovacic.

If Echeverri did stay in addition to Rodrygo coming in, 2 players would lose out.

Swap Rodrygo for Savinho and it’s still the same scenario.

I think this is why we wanted homegrown players in Livaremento and MGW, because then the likes of O’Reilly or Lewis could go on the B list.

Talks it could be Kovacic until at least January due to the injury. I don't know else could be a viable alternative to leave out, really.

I think nowadays if you were to leave a player out of the squad like that then they can get the contract cancelled ( CAS or EU ruling ? )

Lewis and O'Reilly literally make absolutely no difference. Neither does a an additional HG player. We are over the limit on NHG players, and nothing but moving (currently 3) on, or not registering them in the CL changes that.

Think Khusanov is too important to go.

Loan for Nico G or free transfer/ heavily subsidised loan for Akanji looks the only way.

Kovacic can be unregistered until January, but then what?
