Savinho is younger, had a better season at Girona than Elanga has ever had and is a Brazilian international. So he does have higher value than Elanga. I rate Elanga so it is not with blue tinted eyes.Elanga scored 6 goals and registered 11 assists last season.
Taking the blue-tinted specs off for one moment, I’m not sure how you can possibly believe Savinho is worth at least £35m more.
I think we need to move on from this Girona season, we are coming into that being over two-years ago.Savinho is younger, had a better season at Girona than Elanga has ever had and is a Brazilian international. Its only a season ago, the season before last.I think we need to move on from this Girona season, we are coming into that being over two-years ago.
I agree he should be valued higher than Elanga but not by £35m. £67m would be great business.Savinho is younger, had a better season at Girona than Elanga has ever had and is a Brazilian international. So he does have higher value than Elanga. I rate Elanga so it is not with blue tinted eyes.
By that math it's also less than 15 months agoI think we need to move on from this Girona season, we are coming into that being over two-years ago.
must have missed this season :-). His last season was not bad at all, his finishing will not be as bad going forward. Compare those two season stats to Elanga when he was 20 and 21.I think we need to move on from this Girona season, we are coming into that being over two-years ago.
Why would you care you only think he’s worth about £30 mill must think he’s a bit crap, you’re wrong of course. When does the widow close maybe we just don’t want him to be able to play against us

You could say he’s average at the moment. You could also see that he has tremendous natural talent and doesn’t need to add too much to become a top winger. Especially when you factor in his age and only one year in the leagueIf we get £67 million for this lad then I think that's a great bit of business good money for a very average player.
Yeh I’m not sure this will end up looking so rosey in a few years. Don’t think he will be at Palmers level but only as it’s an inferior team. The move from Spurs to his next club could be huge. You could say he’s average at the moment. You could also see that he has tremendous natural talent and doesn’t need to add too much to become a top winger. Especially when you factor in his age and only one year in the league
Why? He is worth well more than that in today's market, and we are right to put a price on him and stick to it.
I am more likely to question spurs actually offering that much, than I am us turning it down.
67 million pound is a highway robbery...If we get £67 million for this lad then I think that's a great bit of business good money for a very average player.
If this is going to happen can we at least drag it out until after the 2nd gameweek. I really can’t be bothered watching him inevitably score against us in the 2nd match of the season.
Absolutely no guarantee his finishing will ever improve.must have missed this season :-). His last season was not bad at all, his finishing will not be as bad going forward. Compare those two season stats to Elanga when he was 20 and 21.
He scored 1 goal in 29 league games. I know he’s got potentially a high ceiling if he learns to shoot and I would never have sold him unless he wants to go which it looks like he does. But they just paid 55m for Kudus who has done a fair bit more in this league than Savinho and Eze looks like he’s going for 55-60, I know he’s older but he also has the English premium. But they are 2 players who are currently quite a long way ahead of Savinho.
But I just don’t think we are getting more than 60million quid when all we are selling at this stage is potential. Unless the bid was 60 million which included a lot of unrealistic add ons I don’t think we are turning that down.
Haven't they said they don't want to sell him? Or do you read that as being pretty easy about him going?Absolutely no guarantee his finishing will ever improve.
I like him, loved him at Girona and was excited to see him at City but the club seem pretty easy about him going and the lad isn’t digging his heels into stay so good luck to him
