We are doing ridiculously good work on the 16-20 year old recruitment front, and it will only take one of them breaking into the First Team, even if we sell on most of the others, to make this policy pay dividends.

To be honest, there was quite a fight for his signature by all accounts. I'd be surprised if that was our strategy for him as we clearly had a significant interest (signed him) and had to present a convincing plan that made him want to sign.

Nah you’re wrong. This guy could go on to be brilliant. Hes only 18 but in a couple of years could really see him becoming our gavi

Think he’s better, but also he Perrone wouldn’t displace Rodri any time soon, a place is almost certain to open up for Nypan next summer with Gundogan , Bernardo, Kovacic almost certainly all gone from the 8 position leaving just Reijnders and maybe O’Reilly.

We would probably buy before we give him the chance though if that were to happen.

No one is going to replace Rodro soon.
Perrone wouldn't have been a bad addition to the squad though.
