Wayne Rooney

He's probably upset because he isn't shouting WAR at them and asking them to shout USA!!!!

GET IN THE FUCKING HOLE!!! Doesn't work in football numbnuts :)

That's Brady not you HelloCity.

Went out of the way to watch that on Amazon just for that bit. Piss funny watching Rooney squirm when being questioned from his boss who happens to be an elite athlete. The bit about practice stood out when Brady talked about it, every session was treated as much to him the same as it meant if he was playing in the Super Bowl. Treat every time you go onto the field be it training or a game the same. That extra bit of effort separates elite athletes from the jobbers who don’t hit the heights. It’s notable that Brady has a decade of being alive over Rooney but looks in a million times better shape than fat Wayne.

It's truly unbelievable isn't it? As so many seem to revel in their ignorance and stupidity so the BBC revels in serial "getting sacked in the morning" Wazzer.
Oh glory be, what insights might Wazzer bring? Hopefully, some expert medical and psychiatric inputs as to how a man with clearly no self awareness copes witn the fact that everyone bar possibly Liz Truss, knows he is an utterly shite manager with clearly as much tactical knowledge of football as an LSD riddled Hilda Ogden - is there a technique to measure if his brain registers any of this?
But of course a very important part of AI (advance of Idiots) is to have a nickname - helps hugely to bring the morons to whatever you are making money from, Hence Wayne (not too hard to pronounce surely) becomes Wazza and then you have Becks of course, Carra, not forgetting Gazza, you get the drift.
If Charles Darwin was around there would no doubt be a Chazcast.
I've always supported and understood the importance of a national, impartial broadcaster but in terms of football at least, standards have slipped dk far I just can't stand it, watch, listen or read thd shite if produces
If you want to know what the majority of people think about the BBC just read the comments under the articles about new contestants on Strictly Come Dancing. They give it some right stick and also that moronic show Mrs. Brown’s Boys get a good hammering.

He knows fuck all about football though, i'm not saying that Rooney is "Enthusiastic" but fucked if I would take advice off an American footballer where real football is concerned.

And they have the sheer effrontery to charge people to watch the unadulterated fecal matter they show.
I thought the BBC were dumbing down many years ago when I saw that Miranda Hart was given her own show, but Jesus fucking wept - Mrs Brown's Boys!

One thing he will learn is don’t hire people who are associated with the rags. They made a horrific mistake getting Rooney in that has put them 12 months behind on where they should be. Brady should realise they are the Dallas Cowboys of football.

Rooney was brilliant as a teenager but was finished at 25 as an elite player. No application. I saw Gascoigne make his debut for Newcastle as a teenager. He was amazing. Messi like. But he was washed up at 26 for the same reasons as Rooney. No application.

Agreed mate :)

Never looked after himself and thought he could survive drinking and poor diet. Other end of the spectrum you have James Milner who doesn’t drink still playing. Both started playing professionally in 2002, Rooney retired 5 years ago nearly.

It is the oldest story in sport isn’t it. The flawed genius. You wonder how good Rooney could have been if he wasn’t an alcoholic. George Best was finished at 26 as well. I feel sorry for Rooney in many ways. I know I shouldn’t.

Tbf to Gazza he picked up that bad knee injury ( self inflicted..) at the height of his career
And when he came back from that he still managed to become a big success in Italian football where the fans absolutely loved him....no mean feat.

Just seen a BBC announcement re his new podcast, plus hes apundit on match of the day yet cant really string a whole sentence together. Further dumbing down from a public funded institution

BBC eve of season let’s get everyone on board with Rooney

Let’s do an article on the night armed robbers turned him over and how he feared for his life that should do the trick

I see it's a bbc story about him every day now, keeps him relevant.
There’s 3 articles this morning about Rooney in the entire football main list pages.

It’s reaching Simon ‘jollies’ Stone levels of continuous drivel.

God, he really is a thick Scouse twat. What are the BBC thinking about putting this idiot on our screens?
