Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

Plan at Madrid is Konate this summer , Saliba next summer. Perez wants those two according to very good Madrid sources
Yes but in fairness, you do tend to believe absolutely everything you read online, and not all of it can possibly be the truth.

Are you meaning facts about past performance?
The ones because if which every club in Europe was interested in him, and we signed him by ringfencing him early through our cfg connection? Those performances? Yeah not relevant to the player's potential or price one bit!

I just don’t see Spurs paying £70m and making him their record signing tbh.

Would be fun if they did and we went for Rodrygo but just hard to see Levy paying that much for a 21 year old prospect.
I don’t think it’ll quite take that much mate, I reckon it’ll be done at around £60mil with a few add-ons on top.

That's where I am at.

I think they could probably get him for less, I don't think our club would hold out for the full 70, if he pushes for the move, and we have a possible replacement looking likely.

But even so, they would need to hit over 60m, maybe 65. And I don't see that happening.

Once/if he stays though, we will learn a lot about his character and attitude.

They spent close to that on Kudus who's older and put up worse numbers two years in a row. 70m is a lot but any bog standard player is 50m these days.

Bobb was here when he signed. As was Alvarez! Foden had his best season ever and was a proper world class player. Cherki? Kevin was here and still out best player.

I don't think he has 'shat it' like many suggest. Think he listened to an offer that came in, and opened to the idea. Or maybe the club listened, and that made him open to the idea. Or maybe he initiated it all. We'll never know. People sre jumping to conclusions, but then stating them as fact.

I suspect Savinho didn't expect to be a regular starter last season, being just 20. Now he wants to start games on a regular basis with the WC next summer. Playing for their national team in the WC is the dream for Brazilian players.

Plus, Marmoush is closer to the first XI than Savinho and Cherki is more of a winger than KDB. So, yes, he is likely worried about his chances to make Brazil's squad next summer.

Don't think the price is what is being questioned. More Spurs' readiness to pay it.

If he wants to go let him go. First bit of interest for him and he's all over it so he's obviously not happy here and doesn't want to fight for his place.

How do we know how good Bobb is? He’s only started 8 games in senior football at 22 years old.
Totally agree. And I think Bobb could be brilliant in our setup and we need to find out for certain by giving him that opportunity. But it's based on very few minutes - he's never done a full season of men's football anywhere, so he could struggle, we don't know.

He’d have to at some point to justify a £60-70m price tag. At this price, there is a far greater risk attached to this deal for Spurs, than there is for us.

I think I am easy either way where Sav is concerned. If he stays, I have seen there is real potential there and hopefully he can realise it. If he leaves, we are going to get a great fee and there’s a high chance he doesn’t ever fulfil the potential.

Am just going of the games he did play on the left his stats are better than the right

Depends if Frank is desperate for him and being a new manager for them levy might just pay the £67m

I seem to remember pictures of Foden with a PT away from the CFA from years ago. I have no idea what is or will happen but I wouldn't read too much into that.
They train with PTs during pre season etc sure. Two days before the season starts?
