And the rags and Littlewoods were the main offenders.

If the FA had held their nerve and maintained the law, excessive holding at corners would be a thing of the past now.
In fact we got a penalty away at stoke for the exact thing mentioned.
Shawcross holding Otamendi from a corner and the ref pointed straight at the spot. All pre VAR of course.
 
as I sit here musing I am amazed ( but have enjoyed ) the rags demise. They have had world class managers and player - Schweinstieger was a world cup winner for fucks sake and they have been shit and thought they could fix it with nobodies as manager and by spunking £80m on either unproven youngsters or over the hill fading stars - never thought I would ever witness it

The good news is their demise isn't over yet.

They've still got plenty of failures in them.
