So enjoyable to watch, only a few scares.

Some notable things.

1. Nico G and Lewis were kind of looked down on for their quality, they showed a very good performance.

2. Trafford looked very comfortable in his debut and I loved that.

3. The high line is back, very like Flicks Barca. I imagine we get caught out a few times, but it is what it is.

4. We have so many ballers. Reijnders and Cherki as a combo is unreal goals and assists and style. Bobb is the starting RW for sure. Doku wasn't so hot today.

Not a bad start for a new team settling in. That Pep lad knows a thing or two.
Reijnders a goal, an assist and a yellow. Excellent. He obviously doesn’t like bus parkers and let them know it.
Squad depth looks awesome and Pep made good use of the subs. Goal for Cherki on PL debut. Two for the Viking. We are rumbling.

That was fucking mint, that. Reijnders is a joke. Exactly what we’ve been needing for a couple of seasons, a midfielder who has energy in abundance as well as genuine quality and ability to score.

Bobb contributing too. Haaland clinical. Jonny Boulders being the beautiful man he is. Ait-Nouri very good. Same with Nico G. Trafford steady and started an attack for a goal. Rico fantastic as well (looks ‘meaner’?). Cherki a joke.

All without Foden or Godri too.

Not seen us play with that element of swagger for a while. It was carnival football by the end of it. Street football.

Loved that.

Matheus Nunes. He’s top of the league.

Oh, and I had Reijnders, Cherki and captained Haaland in my FPL. What an evening.

Absolutely loved that, so many good performances you say, the Cherki cameo was the icing on the cake. He has total belief that he will be a big part of our side.

Trafford threw in a really assured performance for good measure.
