That’s not correct. He was so bad last season we ended playing Nunes there. I am not referring to his abilities 100%.
It is also the way Pep plays him. Meaningless short passes and slow comeback are costing us goals from transition. We don’t need it anymore.

It’s the same with Bernardo.

Madrid played a winger at right back all last season and Barca stick a centre half there.

I want us to sign a top right back as it's the glaring weakness in our team but let's not pretend everyone else has a perfect squad. (I know Kounde does really well at right back that's not my argument)

And how many trophies has Pep won without a proper left back? We'd all love a peak Cafu but it's not easy to get a world class right back in. Rico will make a big contribution this season but many will not give him any credit and jump on his every mistake. I will be very glad if he stays at the club.

Forest wouldn't have bid if he wasn't up for the move so it it's going to be interesting to see what happens over the next week.

I can't see City selling unless £40m-£45m + comes in for him.

Rico has 3 years left on his contract, 95 appearances for City, 5 England caps and is 2 years younger than Mcatee.

Has to be £40m bare minimum in today's market.
