If they do they are rewriting history, no team that has finished 15th in the Premier League era has ever secured champions league football by finishing 4th. There’s much better teams as well that will finish above them such as Newcastle, Villa and Forest.

Like I said no team has ever done it in the Premier League era, there were 22 teams in the league as apposed to 20. 38 games to finish 4th from 15th has never been done. Going back to the 60s for an example of when it has been done shows what a task they have.

You have a point no midweek football,but I’d rather have midweek football as it can be good as you build a rhythm and momentum as the season progresses playing every 3-4 days instead of stop start one game a week..
