That Saka fella might get a move to a big club soon, we should take a look at him

United have huffed and puffed but their midfield sucks and is their system is successful it gets Dorgu and Dalot into space and I don't see what the point of that really is.

Cunha looks good I suppose and has been a real nuisance but over a full season I don't see how they're supposed to win

Missed the games so far but reading up on BBC I see Palace had a free kick goal disallowed because a player was within 1 metre of the wall (or something like that). It's not a rule I remember seeing before. Is it something commonly applied or a new rule?

As per the BBC:

Simply, the goal was chalked off because a Palace player was standing too close to the Chelsea wall.

Referee Darren England made an announcement to the crowd to explain the decision.

He said: "After review, away number six is less than one metre away from the wall as the shot is taken. Therefore, it's an indirect free-kick and a disallowed goal."

The International Football Association Board's Law 13 states that when three or more defending team players form a wall, all attacking players must remain at least one metre from the wall until the ball is in play.

This rule was introduced to the laws of the game in 2019-20.
I remember talk a few years ago that they were trying to outlaw the attacking team forming a "wall" in front of the defensive wall.

I do find it genuinely a bit bizarre that no matter who the rags bring in. No matter who manages them, no matter who they sign, no matter who is on the pitch... the way they play just never seems to change at all? How is that possible?

I see Cunha has been added to Drury's list of players for which he will always obnoxiously shout their full name, occasionally followed by "for Manchester United" for emphasis.

Salah and Fernandes not so special any more.
When the correct frame of reference wpuld be 'playing like 'Eric Ten Haag's Manchester unieed'
