Spurs are already playing better than last season.

It certainly isn’t going to be an easy game.

There is a possibility of a potentially upset.

City need to be on top of their game.

Thomas Frank in charge too, he usually set Brentford up really well against us.

Should this not be a game to start Khusanov - Spurs have expoited our high line and lack of pace at the back over the past few years, yet almost everyone chose Dias in their lineup, Stones and Khus had an excellent 45 minutes against Palermo, just my opinion

This is a real test. I believe spurs will be back around the top 6 or so this season and more organised.

We looked good Vs Wolves but I think theyre in trouble this season. It won't be the only time they get 4 put last them.

Perhaps. Depends on whether Pep thinks he's ready. I don't think Stones plays this game. Pep will likely rest him. We may see Nunes start as he has blazing speed. I wouldn't mess with the midfield. Nico-Bernardo-Reijnders worked a treat.

This is a good test for the start of our season, not necessarily because Spurs are a fantastic side, but time and time again this is the type of game we really struggled to win last year. If we want to get back towards 90 points then 3 points consistently in these home games are key.

The performance as much as the result could be quite telling! & one thing is for sure, the buzz is back and I’m looking forward to it.

Yes he did. I remember them beating us at the Etihad when we were on a 2 years or so unbeaten home run and then having to wait 2 months to get it out of our system. He is a good manager. I think I’d go same side other than Cherki for Doku, Nunes for Rico (tough on Rico though), and maybe Marmoush for Oscar - Marmoush got most of his goals at home last season I think?
