looks a bit worrying - any details?

Interesting that O'Carrol came on as a sub just after being removed from the first team roster on the website.

Evidence of a 3-4-3 formation?

Maybe she will get a new number, number 6 would be free now
 
Thursday's training session will be broadcast at 10:30.

Interesting to see who's still injured.

Hopefully Syd will be back from her hols, possibly the (remaining) Euro finalists too. I suspect Kerolin will be having another 1-2 weeks off.

Syd has been spotted at the CFA so will be there. As will Khiara though not sure on the other England players. Hempo was presented to the Norwich crowd over the weekend so unless she's gone/going away then she is at least in the country.

Okay brilliant. Daughter has just got Kerolin-Nicoli 14 on the the back of her shirt, was panicking she'd change number. Although I am worried she'll just have "Kerolin" on the back rather than "Kerolin-Nicoli" like she did last season, as she has just "Kerolin" for Brazil

Laura Wienroither apparently coming back on a permanent deal. Bit of a head scratcher given we hardly used her when we had her on loan and we already have 2 very good right backs. Suppose strength in depth cant hurt tho.

Yep - another oddity. She only featured when we were short up top and we moved Casparij further forward if I recall. (Brighton A - whoever was left standing after the 4 games v Chelsea?)
If we are playing 3-4-3 maybe she's more adaptable to that system.

Any news on pre-season friendlies? I suspect last week was more for the rags benefit than ours as they have a CL qualifier coming up.

Sounds hopeful:

"Now back at the City Football Academy following the European Championships, Knaak will begin her short rehabilitation period under the guidance of the Club’s medical team."

(But we have history for underselling injury layoffs.)

Yeah we seem to always downplay these things (although i always kind of got the feeling that was partially Taylor trying to a smartarse about things).

It doesnt mention surgery and they do make a point of saying short rehabilitation so lets hope to see her before end of October.

I was surprised because I don't remember her looking too bad when she went off injured. Hopefully she'll be back soon
 
She’s been in photos with the team with a ball at her feet so looks like she’s in full training. If the injury happened in the euros and she’s training the way she is I wouldn’t worry about it being a long one
