Our main tormenter of the last couple of seasons Kulusevski is out injured so I'm going for a comfortable win
 
Got to batter these. Sorry. I'm getting sick of them shithousing results at the Etihad that they don't deserve, and I'm tired of Thomas Frank coming to the Etihad and parking the bus. We especially owe them for last season - absolutely no fucking way should that game have been a 4-0 defeat. The XG was 2.2 to 3.3 and the final score should have been much closer - we have ourselves to blame for that, but we need to take it out on Spurs.

Yes shooting wasn’t great, something thrown into sharp relief by the kind of finishing shown by the two new signings on Saturday.

81 was before my time (I've disliked them for different reasons since) but I've mellowed to them after they rolled over to hand us the title for the 4 peat.

I didn't see their full game against Burnley but apparently they weren't that great. I'd start the same team as on Saturday with the exception of probably Rico (for either khusanov or nunez) and possibly Doku. The rest are good to go

Considering they beat us 4 nil in the corresponding fixture last season and g iven many negative results against them in the recent past I expect us to be fully on top of our game. I see us winning this one,

Think they will play similar to the PSG game with a back 5 rather than the Burnley game with a back 4. Their biggest weapon in that was set pieces and then pace on counters so got to accommodate for that which for me means bringing the taller and faster pair of nunes and ake in at fullback. Doku and cherki bench options for impact if needed. Hopefully foden back on the bench too.
 
According to several posters on the Ait-Nouri performance thread, he is not yet the real article. Not sure I wholly agree but Pep may consider other options, especially if Gvardiol and Ake are fit. Marmoush has to start with Bobb possibly coming off the bench.
 
Off to Australia on Thursday for work stuff, so I'm going to have to find somewhere to watch the game. 2100 local time kick off and I'll be all over the place with jet lag.

I never really enjoy games against Spurs. Hangover from that FAC Final.
