Premier League Games | 15/16/17/18 August '25

I can’t be bothered googling it but I remember them getting absolutely shocking crowds, 14,000 springs to mind. Proper fickle. That’s in a one-club City and not having a hugely-successful rival hoovering up all the kids.

Hope they go straight back down.

24,052 average in 14/15 apparently as an example but think it’s been lower than that, yeah.

Pretty much every fanbase other than Liverpool (who always seemed to average 30-45k from WW2 to 2015 when they expanded further) have had shocking attendance figures at one time or another.

Don’t forget City in the early 60s averaged 14k one season with some 8k gates at some games. The Rags averaged 11k a few times in the 20s and 30s with 3k gates for some games.

Everton look like the newly promoted side here of the two. Moyes did a great job keeping them up with ease last season but their squad is dogshit. Going to need a lot more than Grealish who isnt going to get many goals and assists and dewsbury-hall, think theyll struggle without major movement in the market.

I'll always remember one time in the 70s the away section in the Kippax being full of City and no Leeds. They shit themselves when they came to ours.
