Have you seen that? I’ve only seen a clip from the segment not the whole thing but on the clip I’ve seen he says Savinho to spurs is still “open” - it went out a couple hours ago but not sure if it was pre recorded. Either way, it does look done now tbf but surprised no city or spurs journos have ran with it yet.

Rodrygo scored 2 massive goals against City... there is no denying that and he'll always have that going for him, but that was 3 years ago. The subsequent season saw him score more but the next two have seen him score less each successive season and in 33 games for Brazil he's only scored 7 and assisted 1 time.We’re only fucking ourselves though.

What makes him a truly world class player in your eyes? His output in a team that scores for fun and outclasses their competition by leaps and bounds has been not much more impressive than Savio's was in a team that was predicted to be relegation fodder.

He wasn't really one we were ever looking to sell was he, so maybe he just goes into the "was tempted to leave but couldn't attract the fee" bracket like Bernardo and Ederson.
I wonder how much is the fact we've never really had a young player we were desperate to keep poached for a while and we don't want to fall into that place.

If Savio goes, you need either a potentially world class or currently world class winger back.

I think we'll largely play 3 behind Haaland to get the most out of Foden and Cherki so I definitely think we need a Bobb-equal on the right.
Plus can we fully trust Foden's fitness.
Rodrygo is a weird one. Puffs us up at every opportunity, I genuinely think if Sav goes he is there for us. Real putting all their chips into Endrick, Guler and Mastantuono might even be best for them long term.
4 of those ain’t even wingers. Pep is not going to field 3 10‘s at the same time we know how much that worked so the club intended to get 2 wingers in Doku and then savinho. It’s a risk keeping him, because if he’s shit again all season, we won’t get 6m never mind 60m, and we miss out on a seemingly obvious replacement.
