I've been watching Palmer since he was 16. I've always believed he would be successful at this level. Not this successful, but a legit piece of the City project. I'm being honest when I say my first reaction to our selling Palmer was wtf are we doing? That said, I did watch Savinho at Girona and came away impressed. But if I'm being totally honest I would still prefer Palmer if given that option at that time. For context, having seen Savinho for 2 years I currently prefer Echeverri in terms of contributing quality minutes at the present even though from a factual standpoint he's done even less at City than Palmer had done.Okay and where is the context to what the other member said? I never said Palmer isn’t better. He is a top 5 offensive player in the league
The context was that you could see 2 years ago that Palmer was better when 1. the other played a very very good season in a top league while „ the better one „ had like 5 games . Savinho is better than Palmer was at 19 and is better than Palmer was at 20. his season being 21 is going to start now. And that’s where Palmer started to turn up
Who is again 2 years older.
Are we really going to put Savinho in the same sentence as Haaland? That's part of the problem. Lines have been blurred, perspective has gone out the window, and standards have been blown to bits...In fairness, there were times Haaland couldn't hit the side of a barn as well! :)
Then rip him off by getting 70 mil euro for Savinho...Maybe ferran just doesnt like that snide little **** levy after all the shit he has pulled with us
It's 3 positions if we play 4-2-3-1 though, which it looks like we might.Be interesting to see who is leaving, cant have Marmoush, Cherki, Doku, Foden,, Savinho, Bobb, fighting for basically 2 positions.
If Cherki and Foden play 10 then it wouldn't be much shock at all if Savinho is still our number 1 right winger like last year.£60m for Savinho is an absolute no-brainer regardless of whoever wants to keep him at the club. In terms of ability, he's probably fourth in line for the right wing spot.
I doubt very much that City would discuss internal politics - particularly at Serrano level - with anyone outside the Board room. All this media bollocks is just media bollocks.
Why? Gundo was excellent the final third of last season, he may get reduced minutes this season but is an excellent squad player, also a brilliant player to have in the dressing room, and a potential future City coach. Such complete and utter fucking disrespect.City should say to Galatasary but Ederson and Akanji at a decent price say €25/€30m and we’ll throw Gundo in for free
Can we ship you out instead?City should say to Galatasary but Ederson and Akanji at a decent price say €25/€30m and we’ll throw Gundo in for free
Ofc it's Soriano, knew it.. ffsSoriano blocking it ties perfectly with what Pep said in the presser about the club always having the final say in when it comes to selling players. Particularly when it comes to the finances involved. Ferran will be holding out for money

Because he was mentioned as one of the possible ones to go in the post I was replying to and if rumours were true earlier on in the year galatasary were looking at him and he’s always said he would like to play in Turkey and his current value is next to nothing and there’s loads in the pecking order to play ahead of him. There’s no problem in him coming back when he’s finished playing as a coach. Only for injuries where he had to play last season he probably wouldn’t have even been given the extra yearWhy? Can assure you I am.
I want what’s best for the club not some petty bollocks about doing a billionaire out of a couple more million.
Soriano has always had a say about budgets and money in and out , it's his job same as Khaldoon. As it happens doubt very much whether he decides Savinho stays or goes, it will be a decision mainly taken by Viana, Pep with input from others. Not everything on twitter is true. From a football perspective Soreano should have no say about players coming and going. That should be left to Viana/Pep. All players will have their price and as long as that valuation is met and Pep/Viana are happy, the transfer should be done.

I'm finding it very difficult to believe Soriano is blocking a player's exit. I've never heard of him doing this any time before. Why this particular player? Makes no sense. Shit is getting crazier by the moment...From a football perspective Soreano should have no say about players coming and going. That should be left to Viana/Pep.
