I'd go with the following but I'd doubt tgat Pep will...

........................Trafford...................
Nunes Stones Khusonov Ait-Nouri
.......................Gonzalez...................
.....Reijnders..Cherki....Gundogan...
........................Haaland...........Bobb

Without Bernardo's stamina it'd be high risk in defense but I'd gamble on it hoping the quality of attack would get Bobb behind the defense and/or feed Haaland.

I think we only need one winger, especially if the width comes from the full backs.

The secret to our success imo is to find ways to get the ball into a space in front of a run. Passsing to feet gives a player too much to do so slows everything down. Also pressing forward leaves no space.

We need to drop deep to allow space for through balls, over the top balls, into the channel runs, breaks, etc. But this is much riskier in terms of losing possession.

Anyhow just musings of a doddering fool.

11 men sat on the edge of their box getting ready to hoof it forward and chase. Hoping we can break through early before they get a chance to counter. Defo a game for doku he had porro on toast last time we played them.
You re right about Doku, but im not sure he deserves it after saturday. I mean Doku gonna be better and im sure hes gonna help us massively this season, but would love Marmoush from the left with Haaland since the start

It looks like Spurs may not sign Eze before our game. The deal seems close but not that close.

They have Kulsevski and Maddison out. There are also doubts over Udogie and Bissouma.

Doku reminds me of Sane when he first arrived, no doubting his ability but end product not great, Sane improved hopefully Doku does the same

I think most people will just take the Wolves result for what it was .... three great away points against a side that, based on that showing, could struggle this season ... i doubt anyone's really going overboard at this early stage of the season, and being fooled into thinkiing it's gonna be like that every week.

Tottenham have started well themselves, and will present a sterner challenge to us .... and Richarlison is always capable of scoring goals, as is Solanke if fit.

We just need to remain grounded, and face them head on, in EVERY challenge .... we can win this game, and we WILL, providing our approach, organisation and commitment is evident throughout the 90 minutes!
I was with you until you said "Richarlison is always capable of scoring goals". Since when? I was watching the highlights of the Spurs game and when I saw him starting, I said to myself, this guy a'int going to score for these guys. Then he scores 2 spectacular goals! But need more than that before I deem him as "always capable of scoring goals"!
