Did you see the shots? The didn’t go in as they were straight at the keeper at roughly 3mph.Especially if 25 of those 50 shots are on target.

Yes it’s screams to me he couldn’t finish a Greggs sausage roll and backs up what my eyes see.Can anyone see a weird outlier (some may say "statistical anomaly") here?!

I just have more faith in Bobb who’s shown far greater composure and has a far higher ceiling in my opinion.Must be the only 21 year old on the planet that is clearly one of the best dribblers and passers in the world already but their fans want him gone because they think its impossible to teach shooting and composure (when they are the elements of football that come latest).

Nuance is dead. (Played left back for St Etienne)Another somewhat weird, polarised thread.
He is not shit, nor amazing.
He is a young player who has had great games, average games, and relatively poor games.
He is good at some things and less good at others.
Can we have sensible discussions and balance instead of concrete walls between stay or go?

That’s fair enough. I only got involved in the discussion as some was saying anyone that prefers Bobb is fickle.I don't really see it as Bobb vs Savinho anyway. I'd happily have both, we play a lot of games and one coming on to replace the other gives us an incredibly strong RW for a decade.
Haha, just winding you up mate, either you see the potential in Savinho or you don't, no big deal.Danny Mills managed to hit one similar. Not sure of your point.

So, he's similar or worse in the league than Doku re: goals/assists per 90 (2 years older than him and 4 years older than Savinho) but compensates for it in big games. I'm not sure that's enough to pay him 300k a week.
For the record, I'm not against signing Rodrygo. It's up to Pep and the club. But I can see why we may be cautious.
His league record is iffy yeah, but if your paying 300k a week to a player thats proven they can do it consistently in the Champions league knockouts 300k is worth it.
His goals have put Madrid into finals, Vini jr gets the plaudits but Rodrygo is who you can count on to score in those semi finals etc a player needed in the big moments. Comeback against us , the assists and goal at Chelsea, winner against Atletico when it's 1-1.
If we are in the semi final of a champions league I'd rather Rodrygo over Doku and Savinho. Because he's proven it. He's got enough credit that you know he going to do something.

I respect your opinion but I think Doku is better. He's unpredictable, has a crazy pace and scored more goals. And I genuinely believe he'll just get better and better. His goal/finish against Juventus is something I can never see Savinho do.Personally I think Savinho has a really high ceiling. He needs to work on his shooting but there's so much about his game to like.
I personally think he's miles better than Doku and I can see Savinho in 2-3 being a top class winger. Ideal for me would have been Spurs in for Doku so we could have kept Savinho and signed Rodrygo to play on the left.
I love Rodrygo, but unless a wide player goes there's just no room for him.
Exactly. Bobb has a massive potential and I think many people forgot that because he was injured the entire season. It's a joy to watch him play. When I watch Savinho play he just makes me angry. If someone said you have to pick either Bobb or Sav to reach the very top I’d be in the Bobb camp all day long. He’s got a real X factor about him.
The problem is that many of us don't see this as an anomaly. If Savinho had a conversion rate of the other 2 I'd be cursing our board for even thinking about selling him. If we really have to keep him, I truly hope he proves me and others wrong and ends up scoring at least 7-9 goals per PL season along with his 8 assists. Because if he doesn't, we're all gonna suffer next season, again.I don't get why this is so hard to illustrate. Players don't just only score at an average of 1 in 50 shots for their entire career. Especially if 25 of those 50 shots are on target.
These are all the percentage stats, to avoid appearances skweing it.

Get the graphs back out lad, that'll change everyone's mindNo I closed my eyes each time mate ;)
Yeah, that is eminently fixable. He was 20. The current golden boot holder was scoring 9 goals in the Swiss league at his age.
Can you see from the stats above that we literally only need to fix his shooting confidence, and I'd say his timing of shots and he'd be at least as good as, if not a fair bit better than Barcola and Doue?
