Tbh, the only time Rodrygo's stood out for me was the two injury time goals he scored in the CL semis at the Bernabeu to knock us out.

Others are evidently seeing what I haven't, hence me being OK with him possibly coming here, but also being more than fine with Savinho staying. I've never paid particular attention to him, & he's never really caught my eye, aside from the goals against us.

The only issue I have with Savinho is this transfer speculation seems to be driven by him & his representatives. I think him looking elsewhere has been going on a while & probably explains why he had a face like a slapped arse during the CWC.

Doku has had two years of Pep coaching and hasn’t visibly improved. Last chance saloon
Pep seems to love Rodrygo so he obviously sees something there that we can’t, that he can make him significantly better
I’ll trust the greatest manager to ever do it rather than the stats virgins on here and elsewhere

I'm all for signing Rodrygo if Pep wants him.
 
No one else has reported it now.. and it's been a couple of days. Player plus clubs is probably still in the dark then, could go both ways.
 
If we let go of Savinho, I honestly don't think we will replace him. Rodrygo is on monster wages and I can't see City paying that. That's without the transfer fee.

It's reporting us as saying "we will try" for Rodrygo if Savinho leaves, which suggests if we sell Savinho, it's more than likely we wouldn't bring Rodrygo in to replace him. For that reason, I'd rather we keep Savinho at this stage.

Get the money for Savio and go get Semenyo. 11 goals playing on the wing last season. Came out of the gate flying v. Liverpoop this season. At 25 just entering his prime. Better than Rodrigo or Savinho...
