Midfield of Nico, Reijnders and Cherki was far too adventurous.

We were playing quite well at the start then Nico the master of dilly dallying on the ball lost it and the momentum changed at that point.

There is no cohesion with the team. Trying to play out ends in Trafford smashing it long to them. Can’t build or sustain attacks. When Trafford does try and play gives them a goal. Just highlights how crucial ederson has been and what we will be missing should he leave.

Don’t blame Trafford either. He is a kid being asked to do something he clearly can’t do.

Cherki and Reijnders now know the intensity required against a good well coached PL team. Nothing being built from the back at all. This is a bump in the road for a young team that will get better.

Agree. We could make it easier on ourselves by not setting up in a way that gifts goals. Just play a bit deeper

We need to get used to what just happened with Trafford because it will happen with any keeper who isn't Ederson.

Ortega does it. Alisson does it. Donnarumma does it. Every keeper in the league does it.

Always said that we wouldn't understand how good Ederson is at the simple stuff as a fan base until he is gone. Whether that makes up for the difference in shot stopping is a totally different question.
