Last season wasn’t transitional it was one of realisation.

The system is still perfect, the problem is the recruitment. This system requires players at the highest level, Let's be honest Marmoush, Doku, Sav, Jack etc these players were never at the level to play this system. It used to be a near perfect team with the odd 1 or 2 players slightly below that level (Delph, Zinchenko), now we have a team filled with players below that level and the odd 1 or 2 exceptional player.

Maybe.

It’s either the system or the recruitment?

I have said before, need to start buying world class players if we can only play one way.

We look like those teams that used to try and copy city but with lesser players.
